I am started to suspect she lived there when she made the phone call about the stalker. Didn't make sense to me she would make a phone call about a crime from another state. I need to re-listen to MV's interview with Art because I am pretty sure one of my questions made it into the interview but it got neatly handled. It was regarding how he was able to broadcast at all with the stalker situation.

Nah

Nevada law on autopsies is interesting. In addition to the cases you would think of - violence, evidence of abuse, accident - the law also requires an autopsy in an unattended death. Unattended is defined as not in the presence of a physician or in a medical facility.

That’s going to require a lot of autopsies - like the Florida law that requires all corpses be embalmed, even those that are to be cremated. The morticians got to the legislature. Did autopsy surgeons get to Nevada’s.

My advice:  Talk to an estate attorney about this.  Dad may be (mentally-emotionally) beyond the point where he  is capable of naming a guardian-conservator and or executor, but if you as the responsible party who has been doing the hard work of doctor's visits, health maintenance, emotional support grocery shopping etc--you might be the obvious choice  (it's between you and your Dad--best kept between you two).  I do not recommend court room proceedings with third party GCs as these corporate entities will charge high monthly fees and exhaust the estate as will legal GALs (Guardian ad Litem(s)).  If siblings are truly taking or mismanaging money you can call and discuss with your state Adult protective Services (nuclear option).

what about all of those deaths in hospice care, in the owner’s home? Autopsies on all of them? Sheesh.

Mortuaries are (at least is some states) not required by law to embalm a body before cremation. However, they themselves require it to any family planning to view the body before it is cremated. Supposedly (or so I was just told by a mortuary) it’s because some people touch their dead  loved ones. The embalming process -they claim - kills about 99% of all bacteria in the body.

That's insane. I do remember the power outage now that you mention it.
So intriguing to read these points of possible evidence.

If it comes out she has been living there for 2 yrs or so my mind will be blown haha
Also if it is true what a drama Art had going on. Wow  ;D
Slick Willy Art.

So the fact the power outage was in Pahrump and ended that night's show proves she lived in Pahrump then?  Not necessarily..  She could have just been visiting for a week and so doing the show from Art's studio in Pahrump while visiting.

indeed. Keith accidentally confirmed this. Vote Quimby, mikuthing01, and myself posted about it while it was going down. Keith wasn't going to outsmart the autists out for blood, not that time.

If there is any truth to this, Art probably had access to morphine. They give it to COPD patients to help with breathing.

If it were suspected that Art had intentionally swallowed the whole bottle, even the doctors wouldn't call for an autopsy.

Aldous more or less confirmed this fact as well.

She's personally assisting with the autopsy.  headstone is done.

If I was Heather, and I did indeed buy that lot and house next door to Art, I would be looking to rent it out ASAP and getting the hell outta Dodge.  Faster than getting it ready to sell, although I suppose if you paid a local realtor enough they'd be happy to take care of all the details for you while you were out of state.  I would think Heather would return to Cali, where she might still have a friend or two.

But it in no way confirms she lived there at the time:  just was visiting.  With her obsession, I'm sure she used to visit a lot.

well, yes, technically you're correct. however, i believe the circumstantial evidence is enough to safely rule that--she was indeed living in the area (Art's house) at the time.

the prosecution rests.

I'm sure talking to her without a recording is risky...  She is unstable and can really muddy up the water.  I'm sure email and paper is his lawyer-advised method of communication.
