I posted a toast to you guys, but for whatever reason, it didn't go through.. either time that I posted it.  It was a snapshot of the beer I was drinking for lunch, and a toast to you.  Maybe MV was jealous he wasn't drinking, too?  :o

My apologies for such a long post, my friend.  Blame it on the beer.

Blame nothing on beer.

...How dare you.

We know Heather's been living there on the compound for a couple of years, but only JUST bought this house.

...

A lot of interesting points of thought you brought up while enjoying your sideways beer  ;D

When did we find out that Heather has been living there in Pahrump for a couple of years? What's the low down on that?
I was under the impression she only moved there sometime back in January or February of 2018 and that was when she 'bought' the house and land from Art.

The legal stuff and his possessions probably would require a few weeks to sort out.
He was well off so who knows what land/properties he owned and what other assets he had that would need to be managed and dealt with.

The speculation of a possible overdose of pain meds, whether unintentional or intentional, has been something I've given more though to. Just because of how Dannion Brinkley mentioned Art was in really poor health for months before his death. Makes you wonder.

I think it was because I had to email it to myself and then save on my computer. LOL

I was able to post pics from my phone just fine the last few days.  :-\ Oh well. At least it amuses..

A lot of screen shots have been posted lately of a sale date for the property.. I believe I saw March of this year. I also recall posted in this thread a screen shot of when she supposedly moved to Nevada, which was in 2016.

We had a recent rant attributed to beer and Benadryl. The poster claimed his name was Don, I think. If you ask me, it was more a Heathertonian meltdown lasting 3 pages.

Like a few other accounts, it laid dormant for years only to resurface now. That totally seems like a Heather thing.

I don't remember the ID, something like "grabwazr1976"

So, over this said beer, I had several thoughts about whether or not Art would do himself in, and also why Heather said that she was planning to do a show on Tuesday (after the death), but that due to a situation with family (I think she actually meant HIS family), she was not able to do so. She indicated that Keith knew what she was referring to.

So..   Art's wife and kids were set up with $$. Even if he didn't have life insurance, or even if that life insurance policy had some clause stipulating that the family would get jack if he killed himself, they would still likely have a LOT to be comfortable. On top of that, Airyn could sell the house, the land, the tower, etc..

We are told that Art was found dead in bed (supposedly) on Friday the 13th. Art's sense of humor? Or God's sick joke? LOL (or a funny one. Take your pick).  Whitley says he's wondering about the toxicology reports.  Obviously an autopsy was done. However, we know he was in bad shape, and anyone who saw him recently said the same thing- he looked terrible.   Why have an autopsy? Okay, so even if he wasn't lingering in the final stages for days, this does happen. People's hearts give out. Why wouldn't they automatically assume it was just the COPD? Unless something at the scene suggested foul play, or that maybe he took pills, or Airyn felt that something was not quite right?  Or maybe because he's a celeb in that area, they felt better safe than sorry. Or maybe she just felt like she had to know. Certainly understandable.

There are scenarios where someone dies, and the family requests an autopsy. If there is even the faintest whiff of doubt, maybe it's a case of say where the bank puts a hold on someone's account- they put a lock (proverbial or otherwise) on his radio equipment.  Because it's still his.  GravitySucks- if I understood you right, Heather's house is/was Art's studio. Well, that doesn't necessarily mean he sold her his studio equipment. Maybe, since it seemed she paid well over what the place was worth, from the records.. but if Airyn perhaps questioned that sale (as it happened not quite a month before his death), she could have asked Heather NOT to touch his stuff until they got back the toxicology reports.   Maybe this is why her hand was forced, and she couldn't get back on.

We know Heather's been living there on the compound for a couple of years, but only JUST bought this house. We also know from her posts online (or maybe she said this on her show?) that her cat was really sick (and now dead), and she could not afford vet bills. Yet she just bought his house. Where did she get the money?  Do you think it at all possible that Art gave her money so that she could buy his studio, knowing that she would presumably keep on doing MITD? Knowing his time was limited? Why now?   Maybe Airyn didn't know about it.. or maybe she did, but didn't care for it. Maybe she's contesting the "sale" of the house?  After all, why wasn't Heather at the funeral? Is it really because she couldn't control her tears, and didn't want to upset the family? That sounds completely bogus, as does much of the rest of what she's been saying.

Also, with regard to Art supposedly leaving instructions for how long they should wait to report his death.. or the family being pissed that the sheriff didn't wait longer than they did..
When my grandpa died, he was married to a woman well beyond half his age.  She took off one day, and he was in really ill health.  We never heard from her again, and I don't know that he ever filed for divorce. He was certainly abandoned, in any event.  We were concerned that when she heard about his death, she would show up out of nowhere and start demanding his stuff, his money, whatever. MAYBE Art was concerned that his ex wives or his estranged kids would try to screw Airyn, Asia and Alex out of whatever he wanted to leave them? Waiting til Monday isn't a long amount of time at all, but at least certain paperwork could be file by that point.  I dunno.  I really can't think of why else it would be so important to hold off that long.

I think that there is probably a kernel of truth hidden in there somewhere. When money is involved, people can get really weird (and sometimes in a very bad way). Death can bring out the best in people or the absolute worst. I had a close relative who died years ago. She was elderly so it wasn't a surprise, and she had very little. She was pretty much surviving on social security at the end of her nearly 100-year life. She had nothing of real value aside from the home she lived in, which was in need of repair. Didn't own a car. And yet, when she was close to death and after she was gone, certain relatives dove in like vultures and grabbed what they could and questioned what everyone else was getting. This is a woman who was living pretty much at the poverty level. There were no big savings account or investments. It was all old furniture and knickknacks with no value beyond what loved ones placed on them for sentimental reasons.

So when you consider that Art had some money and tended to create drama in his own life, it's easy to see how shit can get out of control in his absence. I don't think he was wildly wealthy, but he certainly had some cash, property, and some things of value. So maybe a lot of this stems from people covering their asses. Maybe that's also why the sheriff's office made a video announcement. Maybe they wanted their statement to be clear and in the public eye in case the details surrounding Art's death came into question later.

I'm kinda glad the Nye County sheriff's office released the initial death announcement. When I first heard it, I thought "It seems very unlikely that Art Bell would naturally leave this mortal coil on a Frida the 13th.  This has to be a prank." Had MITD announced it, I probably wouldn't have believed it. Since I saw that it was the official Nye County sheriff releasing it from their official Facebook account and with a serious video with no obvious gags or tells, that was what made me realize that this was not a Friday the 13th gag.

So I take it that Heather has some kind of iron-clad contract, that is forcing Keith to keep on giving her a chance or else he'll get sued.

You know, there is a marginal possibility that HLW may have purchased the property (as speculators do) in absentia, from another state.

Does it make sense?  Not really.  Plus someone posted about images of the move itself.

Nevertheless, intriguing.

What?  Being your most favored eunuch is insufficient for you?

I believe the house closed in March, 2018. I do not know when she moved there. Check the weather report for Pahrump. I don’t think it was earlier than February 2016. Check to see if she took any days off during the spring/early summer of 2016. If she did, that might be a clue of when she moved.
