Is this Enya after Elvis?
Alphabetical, maybe Keith skipped ABBA.

that's Bellgab for ya--destroying established theories or order

I believe there are two people he doesn't want to call in.
I figured the one would not call in- but I had completely forgot about the "other." Yeah, who wants to deal with that ugly bitch on a tribute show losing her everloving mind?  Probably a good call in the end.

I was gonna say Heather.

My first post and I'm so lame I'm either the pro or antogonist and I honestly don't know which is which. Do any of us? This is so deep. That's what she said. Lol. And thank you! I think I should've expected this, and lo, I shall learn to love it.

For some reason I found this as cool as it was hard to listen to. Hard with which to listen . F grammar
Especially because a former beautyqueen turned intrepid reporter could open up a payphone receiver! Recall hard. Most folks fiddled with paperclips through the holes to try to get free calls etc.

So you know all about Heather carrying Art's child then.

Is this Bellgab or Chinatown?

They don't play that opening on the radio. I went and bought that LP just for that part. I love that bit.

What's it the intro to?  Cherry?

ELO should have been before Elvis, no?

I think he may have time to go back through the artists. Maybe not.  Hell who knows how its saved on his mp3 player?

Hells Mole

I think a bumper music listening party is a great way to honor and remember Art.
This may be the best tribute I've heard since the terrible news hit us.

I have only been listening for a little while but I have very quickly noticed that the music is being played alphabetically first by artist then by song.  That just seems like an extraordinarily Keith-ish thing to do.

Why play songs in a meaningful order that compliment each other and add variety when you can be a computer and simply play an entire catalog of music in alphabetically sorted order.   ;D

Ones and zeroes, folks, there's no doubt about it.

Thank you! I'm both cautious and optimistic.

I think the customary grace period is 24 hours, lol.

Lola2001

I like the bumper music and its great of Keith to do it....but.....its sad that Heather is preventing him from giving us a live show, a tribute to Art. She should be ashamed of herself.

Glenda, why isn't mediocre witch an option?

The mediocre one resigned

His player must not have a shuffle button

I think that most here are welcoming.  The fact that you type in completely sentences (and know that the best way to listen to a podcast or radio broadcast is with a drink) says that you're in.  It sounds like you have read here enough to know who to ignore and not to take things too seriously.

So- Welcome and post often.

BTW- who was it that called "elvis"?  I just realized that it is like listening to a cross section of my fathers music.  Man, this was his stuff.  :)  I will be one of those requesting a copy of the show later from somebody with the foresight to record it.  ;)

Thanks, Broheim! If I keep doing this maybe I'll not quote entire messages and learn the ways of this shrine to... The things. But, remember, I'm drunk. And thanks again :)

That's what dump buttons and 90 second delays are for.

Tusk was truly a great album.  Especially Christine McVie's songs

Yep. I always preferred her voice.

What the hell is this piano one???

Morgus

Is this "Little Ballerina Blue" ?  One of Art's earliest bumper music selections in the early 1990s.
Don't know the artist name.

Sean92008

I remember that Art's most memorable bits of non music were the thunder and the piano gliss/crash.  Both were CBC sound effects that were part of their catalog of royalty free bits.  Someone asked him once where he got them.

I allways liked that stinger that was played from coming back from commercial.  Neat sounds.
