I was starting to drift asleep when he called in and immediately I was wide awake as he started into the story. It was so strange how I felt compelled to post on here about it.

On a patrol of that nature they would do everything to avoid contact or give away they're position. I'm sure they were completely silent and still as the light made it's movements in total darkness.

It is a simple story but I think that is what made it so creepy.

Yeah, you get a caller with a story once in a while that definitely wakes you up a bit. I remember a few that've made the hair on the back of my neck stand up because of exactly what you described. Something about the details and the vocal tone and subliminal stuff that gives it some truth--you know that at the very least the caller believes they story. Gives me the creeps sometimes and sometimes even changes my perspective a little.

How could anyone resist tuning into The Sunshine Show?

In the meantime, I was glad to hear Heather giving her some airtime when Sunshine called the show.  Perhaps it is only a fancy of mine, but Heather actually seems to relax and enjoy herself (for a change) when Sunshine is around, which, in turn, makes the show a lot more fun for the listeners (or at least one listener, anyway). 

I was already half-dozing when she called in last night and I caught myself smiling at the sound of her voice just as I drifted off to sleep.  It is nice to read that I am not the only one who enjoys hearing from her. 

Yeah, I was definitely serious when I said that. That kind of positive Chi should be shared.

Pneumonia is a tough thing. I don't want to jump to conclusions, but a friend of mine (in his mid 30's and was healthy) got a case and was dead in 2 days.
