I waa more commenting on the quality of  radio these days. As for drugs? To each their own. Frankly I stay away, especially with this stuff coming (even legal or prescription) from who-knows-what facilities in China, India, etc. The 'legal' pseudo illegal stuff is just as crazy. I would legalize for adults most things, known and understood, and stop that madness, but dont think the predators in Asia with their stuff or the cartels should be in business.

I agree with all of the above sentiments.

I wonder if there is a market for an Underwriters Laboratories for drug users?

If you play MITD on the radio during those, er, intimate moments, you might not get that spark of life, either.  :(

Perhaps Heather can bump up the number of Time Traveler subscriptions by marketing MITD as a cheap and effective form of birth control?

Any genius worth their salt,  knows that anything that makes you feel good, or feel better, MUST, by it's very nature, be BAD for you, and must therefore be banned and sanctioned.  /end sarcasm.

MITD: Like drugs*.....for your ears!

*Bad ones. :(

I think she should just 'go for it,' whatever it is. Weed, booze, witches brew and be spontaneous. Maybe hard to do but many a lawyer, politician, baseball annoucer, athlete, actor etc can, or did, perform drunk or high almost daily. And sometimes better performance (tho often not and longterm problems) but go for a full kettle of witches brew and make interesting radio! Dock Ellis LSD no-hitter style!

Maybe a little eye of newt.  ;)

I think he and Heather are out to get us. And never trust a man with no neck

Is this show still on?  I try to get it on my internet radio and the stream I have had programmed since Art started gives a "station not streaming" error. I've endured two nights of sNoory.

You can stream it from the Dark Matter website or TuneIn app free.

$4.99 per month will allow you to download it without commercials .

First two guests this week were intelligent design level bad , is HW picking these guests ?

Juan

It appears that the direct stream url changed.  Maybe it has to do with it being a year since Art began. Maybe the stream I was on expired.

He is currently associate professor of political science at University of Miami."[/i]

University of Miami is where one of the "Dead Scientists" is from:
"Since November last year several world-acclaimed scientific researchers, specialising in infectious diseases and biological agents such as Smallpox and Anthrax, as well as DNA sequencing, environmental research and microbiology have died, many in unusual circumstances.

First, on November 12th, was Dr. Benito Que, a cell biologist working on infectious diseases like HIV, who was found comatose outside his laboratory at the Miami Medical School. He later died. Police say the attack was possibly the result of a mugging. The Miami Herald reported that:

"The incident, whatever it may have been, occurred on Monday afternoon as the scientist left his job at University of Miami's School of Medicine. He headed for his car, a white Ford Explorer parked on Northwest 10th Avenue. The word among his friends is that four men armed with a baseball bat attacked him at his car."

This is the stream I use:

The stream does switch over to Richard C. Hoagland after three hours.  However, I consider do not consider this a drawback, but rather, a sanity-preserving feature.

It sounds to me as though Heather is out to undermine her own programme with this guest.  ???

[Site guest blurb says:]

His most recent book, American Conspiracy Theories, addresses why people do or don’t believe in conspiracy theories in America.

Somehow, I am not convinced that booking a guest who wrote a book critically examining conspiracy therories is a discerning choice of guest for a chat show that depends, in large part, on guests flogging conspiracy theories.  :-\

I wonder if Martin Willis is getting tired of working for no pay and is showing his displeasure by hate-booking guests?

Isn't it a tad disingenuous for Heather to continue to use the Twitter handle "@ArtBellProducer" at this point when she has not produced anything for Art Bell in six months?

What is a F2B follower? Just curious.

Art Bell signed up for Time Traveler.

What a profoundly correct thought.

Isn't that rather like Picasso springing for a paint-by-number set?
