Boone story line got me right in the feels.  I often think of the philosophy of his act in regards to his wife.  Was it mercy, or an extreme example of male control.

well she was carrying another mans child lol

Some of the decisions you have to make really make one think.  Like I couldn't make my mind up about the Brotherhood of Steel faction.  I helped them, but wasn't happy about it - buncha weirdos really lol.

The Brotherhood of Steel was a quandary.  On one hand you would want a group that was motivated, organized and had long term goals in regards to saving technology as most of what they were doing I believe would help humanity in the future more than anything else, it was in the present their devotion and behavior wasn't an environment where I would have been given a chance.

So you have to juggle your own desires to stay alive and a hard line approach to save humanity in the long term.

Was she?  It's been so long.  I might have to get back out there in the wasteland.

I'm a firm believer that you can't catch something twice, so yes I will go sans rubbers.

Right!  That's part of what makes that game so great.  All the various ethical paths are plausible, if unsettling.  For a while I played as a lone-wolf type, but found myself aligning with various groups, but then wondering wtf are these people actually delusional?  Very interesting experience.  Plus the gameplay, landscape, music etc. was really cool.  My fave game in the last few years.  I will play through from scratch, on hardcore mode, with a totally different kind of character and see what happens.

Parachuting to a remote island as a survival strategy?

Too much cannibal talk in that last segment.

Which begs the question, what is the appropriate amount of cannibal talk.

What the hell is Heather doing with MITD?  Turning it into Coast to Coast 2?

Are Hungarian trains like Venezuelan ones (i.e. no toilet paper)?
Yeah, and shitting into a hole that dumps on the tracks. Fun in winter.
Caveat: they could be better now and this was on rural trains.

I'd say its worse. At least Noory isn't holding back angst and anger at the audience.

What's that old saying about becoming the thing you hate?  I do not know who came up with the nickname "Girl Noory," but they were pretty perceptive.

Shouldn't #3 read: make friends with non-cannibal pilot who has private plane at secret airfield?  ???

Didn't Art have this guy (or someone very similar) on last year to discuss how America's health care system was a disaster in the making?  ???

Oh, so it isn't just me who notices Heather's false heartiness sounds so forced and, well, joyless.

Frankly, I do not know whether to be relieved or alarmed.  :-\

Tinfoil_Helm

Sounds like Heather is still squatting the time slot and stinkin' it up.  This has got to end soon, right?

A guest to tell us how it sucks isn't necessary. Anyone who's gotten sick or pays health insurance knows this.
