Thanks.  It will need to be quite a large bag with all those beer boxes and baby wipes.  Perhaps I shall just "bug-in".

Some folks just go ahead and do a pre-bug-out.  They're already off the grid, supposedly.  But tell me they don't sneak back to town for a Big Mac.

Well, traveling in your car is going to be limited to amount of available gas Heather.  I don't know if anybody will be able to travel far enough to need a paper map to be honest.

Would only take about 3-4 days for civilization to come undone.

And to get it started, it'd only take a guy in Yuma falling asleep on the job, or a snake wandering into the wrong substation.

I honestly wish the grid would go down for a few weeks.

I lived in Spokane when the power went out during November last year where half the city was out of power for 6-7 days.  It wasn't fun.

aight, on hold, hopefully will get through after the break, though someone is on before me.

JesusJuice, going to give out a shout out, if you are still here tonight, either way the name JesusJuice will ring out through the night airwaves.

First, I am going to need a harem.

First, you are going to need to feed your harem.

Sounds like someone wants a job in logistics in my post apocalyptic empire.

Well, I don't think I would be much use in your harem, seeing as how I do not put out until the 3rd or 4th date. :(

So is this kind of Fear Porn a C2C staple?  ???

Pretty tame compared to some of the C2C nuts.

Not a good sign.

Imagine how it will be like if Hillary is elected.

I have the strongest urge to mock this fellow and his ridiculous cant, making all sorts of observations about the kind of people who might find this appealing, but it's just whistling past a graveyard.

Well, I expect C2C has been at it longer.

In a post apocalyptic world all you need is guns, water, condoms.

I expect this sort of thing holds huge appeal for people who view themselves as powerless in the modern world; suddenly a jug of water and some beef jerky will make them King of the Hill.

I've been playing Fallout: New Vegas for a year now.  I'm ready for this thing.

They might end up being the new currency.

Great game.

Who did you side with?

I went with NCR.

Seemed the most benevolent.

Good point.  There's certainly a powerful fantasy at work.  And a cult-like inoculation against friends and family who won't participate.

Lilith

The caller is right, you could do all the prepping, but be stuck in your car on the thruway, and unable to get to your "bunker".

Boone story line got me right in the feels.  I often think of the philosophy of his act in regards to his wife.  Was it mercy, or an extreme example of male control.

Love the game, have explored it for 200+ hours.  Only played all the way through once though.  I sided with NCR too, but I ended up taking House's Robot Army for myself!  Made for a hilarious ending.  Will play through again and pick a different ending.  Would like to try the Legion but I hate those guys lol.

Some of the decisions you have to make really make one think.  Like I couldn't make my mind up about the Brotherhood of Steel faction.  I helped them, but wasn't happy about it - buncha weirdos really lol.

For the sake of humanity I hope you forget the condoms.
