+1 on that sentiment.

The saddest thing about all this is that back when Art started doing it, it was groundbreaking.  There wasn't much else like it.  So the broadest topics were all new.  But groundbreaking is only groundbreaking when you're, you know, breaking NEW ground.

There are STILL many, MANY newer, subtler directions one could go, in the crime and occult worlds--things we face now that weren't even on the horizon back then.  There's no reason to walk back 20 years and cover the same old ground over and over.  She sounds like she's just going through the motions--and that, not well.  Why recycle the names of the past when you have a platform that could grow to make NEW icons in the corner of the world you love?

I haven't listened straight through to MITD in weeks or longer.  The first hour, anymore, could be covered by soundbites played in random sequence:  "I've never seen an election quite like this one," "between a socialist and a businessman, I'll take the businessman," "Hillary doesn't treat her staff well," [insert Google headline of the day], [enter guest from 1995], *Wolfman calls*, *update on black eyed children in my neighborhood*, cue Crystal Gayle.

The whole thing is just so sad.  HANDED a platform like the one she was given, with the support of a radio legend and a then-open fan base... the potential of that was staggering... was.  Ah well--it leaves a void for a program TRULY worthy of succeeding Coast to Coast, one that's not mired in the past and hitched to a fallen star, if one ever arises.

and the problem with that was she tried to emulate Art, for as big a fangirl as she was, she should have known she could not do that and she from the start..needed to make the show her's, and never did or listened to the comments that were made..instead her advice came from the very man she replaced who only went on to call the same fans trolls in the broadest way

The problem was she never had the talent in the first place. Co-hosting the GabCast a handful of times isn't enough experience. Art choosing her to takeover makes it seem as if he picked her on purpose, knowing all along she'd probably fail. Who knows for sure. Perception.

trostol, I don't get it. I cared in December, but not anymore. Observing Art's self-inflicted destruction over these last few months has been nothing short of comical. The lolz

And odd pics of himself in the ER or wounds from his drone. I wonder if the stalker situation is resolved yet?

I listened to her when the show was three hours. Not every night. It depended on the guest or the topic. It's just like listening to Noory. I still occasionally listen to him but only if the guest or topic is interesting. You just kind of have to tune the hosts out and listen to the guest. I can't do that now with the show being five hours and the first hour is open lines and she has nothing to say and has the same six people calling every single night. She sounds like she's reading something for the very first time, doesn't understand it entirely, says something stupid and then laughs her "kek kek kek" laugh. I can't stand it.

*shivers* Tune out the host? All part of Art's master plan.

Art use to frequently have open lines in the first hour back in the 1990s. He would talk about things in the news like gun control, the environment, the presidential election, just things that interested him and he would give a strong opinion about it and if you disagreed or agreed you can call in and talk to him about.

Heather doesn't have any strong opinions about anything. She's already said several times on air that she's disinterested in politics and social issues. So she doesn't really follow anything in the news. That's why when she's reading news items in the first hour it sounds like she's just hearing about it for the first time because she probably is.

Now she's suddenly pro Trump and is making political stances that she seems unsure of. Like she's not convinced about the opinions that she's giving but is just reading them. I wouldn't doubt if Art is writing out things for her to say. He wants to be a host but not actually host and she's just a puppet of sorts and she's fine with it because it gives her material to eat up the first hour.

i think the same thing about the Trump stuff..she is just either piggy backing Art or he is telling her what to say in terms of that

She probably feels obligated to parrot Arts' beliefs. And she should. She's livin' the dream.

Got more the feeling she's trying to emulate her idea of Art's lead. Because if he's writing stuff for her, he's doing a shitty job at it.

shhhhhh!!  that never happened.  (Redacted) definitely never hosted the gabcast and was never one of the most active users on this "bellgab" thing you refer to.  in fact, bellgab doesn't even exist.

also, she'd be doing what she's doing right now with or without bellgab, even if it did exist.

now move along, peasant.

Ask Aldous about Trump. I am pretty sure it was Aldous that was the "friend" that Heather said she had talked to about Trump.

Are you implying that I should take this off my CV immediately?

Another great show tonight.  Monday had got the goods this week! ;D

Mon May 23 â€" Randall Carlson â€" Historic Earth Changes

Websites: SacredGeometryInternational.com  GeoCosmicRex.com   CosmographicResearch.org

Randall Carlson is a 3rd generation professional builder and co-owner of Archetype Design/Build, Inc. His interest in architecture and building led to an in depth study of the methods, symbolism, sacred geometry and science incorporated in sacred structures through the ages. Over the years he has studied with a variety of teachers including Himalayan Swamis, Brahmin priests, Sufi Masters, occultists, Earth scientists, historians, astronomers, archaeologists, geometricians, architects and many others. His work is a synthesis of these traditions. He has taught classes and delivered lectures on these varied subjects to thousands of people for over 35 years. He has presented several hundred workshops in Sacred Geometry and is at present developing an online course in the subject. He has immersed himself deeply into the science of global change as it is revealed both through traditional systems and through modern scientific findings. The acclaimed TBS-CNN documentary Fire from the Sky in 1997, in which he appeared, was based upon his research into catastrophic Earth change.

Over the past 20 or so years he has led dozens of expeditions documenting evidence for the great cycle of Earth changes as transmitted to modern times though the ancient model of the Great Year. His lectures and multi-media presentations are a synthesis of cutting edge knowledge from the frontiers of scientific research and esoteric wisdom. His current focus is on translating the cosmic story writ large into the landscape of planet Earth and preserved through numerous sacred traditions from around the world in the form of symbolism and mythology. Randall and his research into catastrophic Earth change are featured in Graham Hancock’s most recent book Magicians of the Gods. His recent podcast with Graham on the Joe Rogan Experience was the number one podcast in America the week it aired. He has been an active Freemason since 1978.

Two posts in 10 minutes. This show is a rocking. Heather really should not do news if she's going to read straight of the page. It sounds like a Falkie video.

I think you can call and ask for phone sex. It would probably help the ratings, although she may want to keep that exclusive to her subscribers.
