What a racist movie, it doesn't have any transgender african Americans as the lead role  ;D

That was likely are a real Brokeback moment, later, once filming was off. But nobody has accused him, to my knowledge, that he is the tranny. It is Mike. (former linebacker at Oregon State, apparently.)
Back to movie: what a great one! Every line a classic and such great filming. And, according to some at the time, a very counter-culture anti-Western, etc thing. So "moving the frame" etc? I don't know but I love it.

Wear it to the next thread.  Where is the next thread since this is a re-run?

I couldn't find a pic of Michelle wearing a cowboy hat so i settled for obama lol, how does the movie compare to other Westerns of the time?

I'm suggesting switch over to "Wild Bunch" on TCM. Even if you've seen so many times you are quoting lines. Those lines are useful in real stations though. And why don't modern movies have such actors and photography??!!

Love that trademark Peckinpah slo-mo violence!   ;) :D

Well it is more cynical and violent (though the 'Spaghetti' stuff had happened also and others.) But Peckinpah and the choice of excellent actors and the direction, photography etc. So friggin awesome. Actually I like the character development and banter more than the more later violence. But all is great. Can watch forever. Really that good.

I don't know where all the cool kids hang out when Heather plays a rerun. I'm thinking Hoagie's thread will be the next one active.

A fun movie. Here is a weird thing. I don't like her. Yet, I love her in that movie (with a bit of not like,) but in Being There, and Ocean's Eleven? Really like. A very weird fetish, or situation, I love her in those roles but really don't like in any others or on talk shows, in real life, etc. Weird.

Early in her career, I believe she was a dancer.  She was a knock out with the most gorgeous gams ya ever saw.  And one of the most talented performers on stage and screen.

But, she strikes me as a pseudo person now.  I don't remember when I first felt that.
