Speaking of that....there is a church in my old neighborhood in Pittsburgh that has the most relics aside from the Vatican.  Went there as a child for midnight mass and such.  It is pretty cool.   Used to play kickball in it's parking lot.

Yeah, see that's the kind of stuff I like. Back when I could afford to go to Europe, I'd go into the all the medieval cathedrals and just feel the vibe of the amazing architecture around me. It's very powerful.

Religion never made sense in my mind until i found universal reconciliation. Don't know how makes more sense to me than anything else i have heard so i lean that way. I have looked into credible Near Death Experience stories good and bad and it seems to make the most sense to me. Most Christians hate me for believing in it though and think of universalisim as a get out of hell free card which it's not.

What scares me are the hellish NDE's like Howard Storm's.  I don't understand a creator who allows a hell to exist.  I do believe in the Devil and demons but God sentenced them to roam the Earth not Hell.  I think Hell is a man-made construct first developed in the pagan days used to scare people to follow the prescribed religion of the culture.  That practice was continued in  Christian culture.

Still the hellish NDE's give me pause.
