Honestly, though, the problem with this "calling in and talking" thing is this is NOT a scientific show... so whatever, I don't listen to this wanting scientific evidence of ANYTHING, that's never been what Art Bell&brand are about.  But Heather has hardly asked a damn thing about her.  If we're getting to know someone--crazy or not--I'd feel a lot more sympathetic if we, you know, KNEW HER.  What was your home life like... do you remember feeling different than other kids... when did you tell your parents all this... what was their response... what jobs have you held... has this affected those... what was your first therapeutic experience with this... etc. etc.

If you just say, "What planet are you from?  How do you know?  Time for callers," no, we're not going to feel all that sympathetic, and we're not going to care, cause she'll sound nuts no matter WHAT she says.  I can empathize with a crazy--even like them.  But the interview style here is just haphazard.  No instinct for it.  And so these potentially entertaining guests just FALL FLAT.
