Wow, are you in Oklahoma or a fracking state?

Colorado. The Nearest fracking is about 15 miles away.

one time this town was hearing these mini booms.. after weeks or months of research they found out that it was coming from a nearby lake.. and it was literally fish orgasms. i saw it on discovery once.
We had some booms here but come to find out it was a car crusher that was making gas tanks on the cars blow up.

Your story is better.

That's really close to you.

Geologically that's close. As I understand it, the New Madrid earthquakes of 1811-12 in the bootheel of Missouri were strong enough to be felt in Boston because of the continuous geology.

I remember a similar story in Seattle. People were hearing a weird sound I it was some sort of aquatic critters mating call or something.

i tried to provide a link to my last post but i can't find anything.

sometimes these reports indicate sounds almost similar to sonic booms, and surely sometimes it is heavy equipment up to a mile away. i also think some videos on youtube are deliberately phony, like one in particular a couple of years ago that had this deep/slow screeching sound like the sound of an empty dumpster being dragged down a street like nails on a chalkboard keyed down to the lowest octave with high decibel output. but i think some legit booms have been heard either before or during major quakes. the real challenge is to filter out all of the reports that are either horseshit, or mistaken sounds. i think phracking is phucking up the earth's cartilage and many of these sounds are a result of something collapsing below the surface with a result like a bass drum on steroids.

maritime-admiralty law says no.
Correct. Unless you traced back the title and now own it in Allodium. Lots of paperwork, plus you have to castrate the straw man. It's a fight with the state, and they don't want to give your birth certificate back to you.
But, if it's done correctly, not even the Sherrif has the right to cross your property line without your explicit permission. Pretty nifty eh? ;)

these guys keep talking over Heather.

No doubt. Personally I'm sure the phuckers are phucking up the earth with phracking. I worry about the phucking water tables.

was it like a GULPING type sound? like maybe if you chugged some beverage and isolated each gulp with possibly some added reverb. i remember the sound accurately just not the location, but no doubt now that it was seattle.

BTW, when they are doing testiing for oil and gas drilling you will hear and feel booms miles away.

Ciardelo

There's a quarry about a mile from me. When they blast, it does rattle stuff.

i have heard piles being driven into a pit 20 blocks away at a dig site with a highrise going up. even with insulation (other properties) in between to cushion certain noise. i would think and oil and gas drilling would make a piledriver pale in comparison. certain sounds travel many miles when the acoustics are ideal.

Solid show. Heather needs to do more of these kinds of shows.

Alex Jones even covered it, but I won't post dis-info links if I can help it.

I never have said that, either privately or publicly. I have said you were good, that is true. But you lose credibility when you can't put a show together but every 4 or 5 weeks.  You could be crushing it and proving how good you are but instead you just...just what is it you do?

I think he has a job. Maybe quit whining and be happy he gives us these quality shows when he can.

Thankfully people want more shows instead of less. Tell you what, Mr. C, match my current salary and you'll have a show every night.

Great movie! Even better with MST3K prophylactically applied!

If i was in the radio business i would try. Who said they wanted less shows from you?
