A few months ago at the bar, this dude walks in and puts a bunch of Nickelback and Creed on the jukebox, then walks out.  Motherfucker...

My love of music is pretty eclectic.

Mine too, I like everything from classical to modern, just very selectively.

That's curious. A few weeks ago you said you consider music a distraction and the only thing you've really listened to is the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack.

It's not just about the singing and the whinny, overly-earnest lyrics to Juan. From what I can tell it's anything after Nirvana...and maybe even The Beatles  ::)

Nah, it's just post-Nirvana/mid-to-late 90's early aughts alt-rock. The only stretching I tend to do is with early-90's proto-Queefcore like Toad the Wet Sprocket, Gin Blossoms, and Collective Soul.

That was a joke you didn't get because you're perpetually bitter and aloof. Though, the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack does horn me up, oddly. It's like sonic porn. The bee gees affect me in a similar way.

No, I think it's more like you can't remember your own b.s.

Considering that I didn't say Saturday Night Fever, I'd wonder about that assertion.

What? You don't? Bet Hoagland does. Imagine his ass in a disco in 1977.

Justin Beiber.
Pah !  Justin Beiber never made music. I don't know what the hell it was, but it wasn't music.

I like no musicals at all. Music grates against my soul like a power sander. I have only ever listened to two songs, an aria by Bach which was played over and over by my parents in an attempt to brainwash me as a child, and the soundtrack to "Saturday Night Fever" which I loved against my better judgment. Music is a distraction.

Live was a good band and they were pretty good live as well

I'm on the fence as to whether to call it a Queefcore band or not. Musically, its queefy in nature, but Live tends more torward being  actual alt rock than Queefcore.

Well, maybe I did. You took that seriously? Just an honest question.

Yeah, it's exactly the kind of pompous thing you would say. And since people are discussing music on this thread tonight, you have to try to seem knowledgeable, so you pontificate in order to try to impress on people that you know what you're talking about. Your standard m.o., in other words.
