Her headset goes to eleven, so it's louder than other headsets.

Rak ash vazûl unûk.
Shaz ash vodûn unûk.
Borûk ashal twazûl.
Vril kazhal Borgazûl.

Sith Borgazul Chant

English Translation:

Power is our passion
War is our way
Darkness is our destiny
The Force shall set us free
Very cool. I'll try to memorize that one !

We tried some overtone chanting in a friend's living room 20+ yrs. ago.  It's slightly possible J. Neal Schulman was there.  It's fun but can rattle your dental work.
Art voice: Oh?

Robert

Dan Bodah DJs a lot of overtone chant music among that in his new program.

Just got here.  What are we talking about?

Yes he did that a lot. There are videos of him going upside down with his organ on top of him. Smacking it around and making all kinds of wild sounds.

You just don't see that stuff anymore, unfortunately. That kind of musical genius is way out of Justin Bieber's reach.

Emerson is still active at 70 something. He has a band and mostly plays overseas, especially Japan. Does movie scores as well.

As far as the 432 vs 440 debate, I call bullshit on it. Some of the greatest songs you've ever heard are in neither frequency but somewhere in between.   ;)

The difference between a good song and a bad song is that one song is good and the other is bad. If a song touches you, the specific frequency makes not a damned difference in the human mind and spirit.

Now if you want to talk about keys, you've got something. Take a sad song in G minor, a happy song in D major and a rocking tune in A7, and you've got themes on which you can build a certain emotional ride every time.

Can you explain why you would tune to one frequency or another? Does the instrument sound different to the untrained ear? Would one instrument tuned that way throw off the orchestra?
