But interviewing witnesses, and analyzing sites and trace evidence â€" I’d love to do that.  If I weren’t completely obsessed with figuring out how some of these objects fly, I’d probably be spending my time and money investigating cases and writing books about them.

It's cool that you took the initiative.  I wish more people would/could do that.

I was on the longest road trip of my life, strung together an itinerary to indulge my curiosity about a lot of things (very diverse subjects), in 1980.  Kind of an intermission in my life.  Being single, alone, unemployed, & moving makes that sort of thing easier.  Visited a lot of friends & family.  Junked my car at the end of it.
