Damn I didn't know there was a movie.

I think Walken is a hubrid.  His face is sort of shaped like a grey and his eyes are similar.

I'm listening to the show but I thought the topic was the supernatural not Communion, part 20.

Who broke the Gab?

Whitley's description of the "Little Blue Guys" or LBG's reminded me of the Pukel Men/Statues and/or the Druedain from Tolkien's "Lord of The Rings" for some reason.

I read those in the fourth grade as I recall, and I think Pukel Men/Druedain were from the 5th book (first half of "Return of the King?"), my memory is suspect some thirty years later.  Although I did do a drunken re-read of the books sometime in my late 20's, but that memory is even more suspect.

I am getting a kick out of the show tonight.  Whitley is a good story-teller, whatever you think about the factual nature of his stories.

Go 1st Amendment rights!

ediot: forgot the linky (not youtube) http://lotr.wikia.com/wiki/Dr%C3%BAedain & http://lotr.wikia.com/wiki/P%C3%BAkel-men (note my suspect-memory is from the written literature, not the silly movies, which were fun to watch.)  This counts for the Book/Movie "Communion" as well.

That is all for now.

Carry On,

Popple, you always come up with the most interesting random stuff.

I agree, Popple is masterful with her posts.

I also wish to protest the Book/Movie adaptation of Heinlein's "Starship Troopers."

Book double-plus.

Movies,

<insert headshake .gif>

although there was a cartoon/anime series "Rico's Roughnecks?" (I think) that I have heard from fellow fans of the book that did fairly well.  I.E. Heinlien is not spinning in his grave over those.

Did I mention that I had my first drink at the beginning of the show tonight, and have had no outlet for my random, but somehow relevant observations for most of the night?  Still I enjoyed flying solo, I think I made the intar-tube jump in less than a parsec.  (the trip from my listening station to the mini-bar is no more than 20 yards/metres, signifgantly less than a parsec)

You could get 20 yards of tubing and just set up an IV
