i wonder if anybody came up with "Heather at the Handle" yet?

You know, there might just be something to that.  It just might have legs.

Huh, Maybe Heather will say?

ETA: Oh yeah, I remember this guy: "Over the last 38 years he conducted over thirteen thousand past life regressions with over 3500 clients." That's a shit ton. Too much of a shit ton. I can't remember if Art asked him about that or not.

38 years * 52 weeks/yr * 7 days/wk = 13,820 days

So at those numbers, he was doing one 'regression' per day--with no day off--for over two generations.

What a hard worker!

Midnight in the desert is Art's show. I think Heather should go with Midnight at the oasis. It has a sexier, female ring to it.

Wouldn't she have to put her camel to bed before the show?

Thanks for the help with the math. At the time when Art interviewed him, there were some posts about it I think. I would go back and look but Art is dead to me now ;)

You won't need no camel, no, no, when she takes you for a ride hahaha

I wonder how many eyebrows that raised back in 1973.

Quote from: Echo on December 15, 2015, 09:35:15 PMIt's tacky to use another shows intro, Art gave up the right to that theme when he sold the show to Premier radio.
It's stock.  Nonexclusive license.  I'm sure there've been other shows that've used it too.  Some choices are just obvious, like "Midnight Express".

But I've also heard shows using music specifically as tribute to some other show or performer.

Jean P. Shepherd used as his radio theme (sometimes his live shows on stage too) a bit of music that was his intro to "Rear Bumper", a TV show he'd done in Cincinnati.  They used it because it went well with an animated video (silhouette of horse racing) that the sponsor (a beer) liked being associated with.

Has [Redacted] in the Desert been taken?
