It IS possible that he and Ramona had differences and he found someone who interested him and nature took it's course.  What followed, followed.

Sometimes coincidences happen in a person's life that make people think bad things and the reaction is to try to spin it into something positive. 

You kidding?  I don't think he'd ever be living in that house if he did anything that bad.  I don't think he'd be doing shows that talk about the hereafter and be 'almost believing' in reincarnation if he had done something so horrible.  He'd have to be an out and out atheist/materialist to live with himself - at least that's how I think such people would cope.

Some people just get used to being married.  I don't think the pattern's as odd as you seem to think.

My husband and I have been married for almost 18 years, and we're not up each others asses 24-7.  I almost never look at his FB page, and vice versa.  I really don't understand why people want to make something out of nothing.  Just because he remarried so quickly, doesn't mean jack, IMO.  In fact, I think it shows how much of a void was left by Ramona's passing. He clearly still loves her, and always will. But he has a lovely new family now, and I'm happy for him.
