I and one or two others were denounced as heretics and worse when we predicted this (I predicted it several months ago, and thought Christmas would be the cut off); so no surprises. There's no comfort in being right either, but a lesson learned for many. Be careful about your heroes. Ultimately they're ONLY human.

Other less drastic solutions IF Art really didn't want to quit:

1) Take a temporary leave, hire competent people for protection & the right people to figure out who the nutcase is OR

2) Record the show during the day while his daughter is at school, in daylight so no stalker is lurkng, & play the show at night OR

3) Do the show from another location & hire protection until the creep is caught.

I will buy the theory that his announcement that he's ending the show forever is a tactic to help make the stalker go away.  But if the stalker continues to stalk and is caught, Art could just start the show up again.

Because he's like a dad teaching his kid to ride a bike right now. He's still holding the handle bars for her, but will soon let go, and she will drive off into the sunset., and Art will go back to taking naps on the couch.

Even if she's educated on alternative subject matter, Heather has zero radio prescence, zero interviewing technique and too much of a grating, backwoods warbly, amateur odd voice with too many wierdnesses for potential.
