Orange County is still like he is describing.

“Around here? It’s pretty much dead.”

This is way cooler than I thought it would be from the description. What dumbass hammers a nail up his nose cause he saw it on the internet?

Didn't Darwin use the more sciency sounding "natural selection?'
Umm, I don't know, I was looking up 1000 Ways to Die. But I would have said he did before I read that.

the illusionist is soooo much better than the prestige.fact

John Keel was a magician too.  Once we went for a walk together & he took me to Tannen's and a costume store.

What did that taste like? Mine is horse stew.
The skin was like toothpaste and the fat didn't have much of a taste. You let it rot before you eat it, seriously.

Art should have Ricky Jay or Penn & Teller on

Penn & Teller would be fun even though their politics are awful.

I was born in orange county and thats a shit hole too

Yeah, I know.  Most of California is a shit-hole right now especially the 3 major metro areas.  I long for the good old days before illegal immigration took hold.

What is the strangest thing people here have eaten?
Fugu. Didn't like it very much, but I just had to try it.

Robert

Great cliffhanger, Mr. Bell!

I have the opposite attitude to the guest.  I do want to know how a magic trick is done, although I like to try to figure it out myself 1st.  Knowing how adds to my enjoyment of the performance.

Damn Good Flick.
Yes!  I loved that movie (the Prestige).  I kept thinking about it for weeks after seeing it.

Yikes. I can barely do raw with sushi. Rotten, no thanks.

I'm finding this disturbingly interesting. Apparently I missed my calling as a carnie.

It's not too late.
