Don't get wet in survival mode, hard not getting wet catching fish with ur hands.
Have you ever tried to catch a fish with your hands? It takes a lot of time even if you're skilled.
Time is a luxury you don't have in survival mode. But I'm not a Pro like barefoot Cody.

Why not try to run a show about survival in wartime circumstances....you know, invasions, civil wars, catastrophes,etc People probably will need more info on how to survive in cities, how to wage insurgencies, how to make road side....well you get the picture... not just wilderness....

and they will of course need a chevy truck to get the job done...haha!

I think if I had to catch fish quick with almost no materials, I'd grab a stick, sharpen it and wade into the water and spike me a winner!  Kind of like Tom Hanks did.

Did anyone see/watch Alone on the History Channel?  I've been listening to what Cody was saying about the other shows but I think Alone was pretty legit.  No camera crew (the participants were given cameras), they each had a sat phone solely for the purpose of calling the producers to come get them outta there, each got to choose 10 implements (is that the right word?) and were each given a few basic things.  My best friend works in the movie biz and he's the one who told me about it because even he thought it was the real deal (and he's worked on "reality" spots so knows first hand what bullshit they are).  So, just curious if anyone one here watched it.

Long story- but I was.  I will tell people about it- but only for roughly two minutes.  Not only that, but I worked there for a decade and they lost roughly 200 years of experience over the last two years out of a staff of roughly 40 - 50 people due to insanity.

I get it- but I know that people don't want to hear my story for an hour at a time, so I limit it.  It sounds like Art limits himself a little as well.  This guest seems not to get it.
