Titan ii used old mercury rockets...hypergolic fuel...very explosive...that's why minuteman was designed with solid fuel...

Worker dropped a wrench and punctured a hole in one of the tanks...fuel leaked, evaporated and was ignited by the welder...

For those of you critical of NDT's melding of science to pop culture.  Consider the likelihood there are more Americans familiar with the Kardashians and Honey Boo-Boo than with Tyson.  He and his peers are up against some strong competition for our attention.
