Was out like a light five minutes into the episode last night.
Just got to catch up this morning.
"JC" (?)'s return was something. Even if it's a hoax, it was one that I happened to enjoy a lot.

I strongly suggest that Jaz use the 8 year old's call for a Youtube video. That kid reminded me of myself as a child; I used to read well-worn paperbacks about UFOs from the '60s on the playground.

Some people have suggested that there may be two JCs, the original in the 90s and then a copycat later.  I don't have an opinion on it.

I'm pretty sure last night's JC caller is the real JC (or, assuming the two JC theory is correct, the current JC).

Yes I think there have been multiple JC callers over the years.
The one that was on with Noory in the past several years was definitely different than the original JC plus Noory seemed to be able to get JC on the phone on demand, indicating he got somebody to impersonate JC after he took over c2c at some point?
Perhaps the JC calling into Art last night since Art seemed to talk with him privately first might have been the older original JC that we haven't heard for over a decade and has changed a lot in that time compared to the JC impersonators that called in over the last 10 years or so...

If that is the original JC, then he has more than just lost his voice, similar to what singers have happen. But even still, his vocal pattern and breathing would still remain, and it is different from the original JC. Go back to the youtube videos of when he first appeared. That guy was using actual voice, or an extremely well trained actor's voice and it was fascinating. Imitators have to imitate that fascinating voice and make their follies often on affliction and speech pattern.

Ha!  I was just coming to GLOAT that I got a personal, private, loving message from JC on his FB.  I GUSHED how grateful I was that he rescued our souls just in the nick of time, and he responded:

It is pretty funny, I admit.  Usually I bid a bonsoir then get sucked into staying longer.  Last night I was STRONG -- and look where it got me!  ROFL! 

Regardless of whether he's the ORIGINAL JC or not, I think this caller is as quick, funny and true to character, so I'm looking forward to more calls.  :-)

There is at least a 19.5% chance of him calling back.  I think it was him, but it sounded like he had a bit of troubles staying in character.

I remember one show, YEARS ago, when JC was on and Art kept going and going and going and JC was pulling some sayings from his repertoire that he'd already spewed that night.  I KNOW he was thinking "PLEASE, Art, HANG UP ON ME!". 

I just listened again -- just not sure, but that's okay.  Close enough.

I think Art is becoming an Apple fanboy....  I've noticed a lot recently that Art is starting to bash Android. For example at ~17 minutes into this archived show, Art received a call from the Wolfman and then the following exchange happened:

"Art - You are a perfect example on how to sound good on Skype.  Uh, what are you using?
Wolfman - Just an Android phone. I think it's a Motorola G.
Art - Boy, pretty good for an Android I'd say....."

I can't believe Art is going to start playing that game. Insulting people because their not using an Apple product. I expected better from him!

It's all in good fun -- relax!  He's not insulting the caller, he's dissing the Android.  Sheesh!  If I used Android I'd understand the humor and that it was harmless, I sure wouldn't take it personally.

Back in the 90's it was the reverse with Art.  He always groaned at any mention of Apple/Mac and loved Windows.  Reminds me of the computer wars of the 80's.  Back then in BBS land everyone took their computer brand very seriously.  Apple, IBM, Atari, Commodore/Amiga, TRS-80.  'Twas brutal.

I love my windows PC, and had never used a MAC at all.
But for mobiles, having gone both ways, Apple wins hands down.

I was unsure about the whole JC thing, he may be real or not its hard to tell. I personally think that JC is just a hold over from the staged calls which were extremely popular on radio throughout the 90's. I know that Art has denied that JC is staged at all but I'm fairly skeptical over this. Maybe he was staged for a bit and now JC just runs with it.
