Could be a requirement of the Court. I just got a jury summons. Great times! Federal District Court for a two months applicability. Apparently once you go to the cattle-call you then must "check in" on some website every Friday and Sunday night to see if you will be called. I can't wait...to talk about Jury Nullification in voire dire...

Yeah its not like the old days with UNIX where you could not get anywhere without knowing things to type. All Linux distros have GUIs now, so you pretty much just install one (ubuntu, etc) and run and play.

A proper laser can wipe out the electronics of a robot, the navy has those weapons already, they can knock down the electronics of missiles with them. Always ways to thwart drones and robots, magnetic pulse weapons probably around the corner too. If not already here.

I think there are small plans already available on interwebs for "emp" type targeted stuff in local areas. Certainly countries have same larger (though likely some counters.) But supposedly there are already super-sonic ballistic type weapons that defeat those (against large stuff, like carriers, cities, etc)
