"He spends his considerable downtime lying in bed, watching homemade conspiracy videos on Youtube, and spontaneously delivering guest lectures to anyone who comes to the door."

At least he doesn't take himself seriously.   :P

Donald Noory

When Art said he might turn the show over to the right person, was he referring to Falkie?

Thoughts on Night Gallery?

Not bad, but it seemed less creative...I remember the episode with Roddy McDowell and the changing paintings... It was pretty good...

WhiteCrow

So I'm a little confused ....this guy is making a time machine ... Right?

Portal to other dimensions, actually.
That or cosmic dishwasher.

As a resident of that fine city, I can confirm that it is. The picture I posted is its most modern iteration.

Didn't the original US Pavilion burn down?

JamesMcDonald

Hmmm...  How do we know this guy isn't some kind of freakishly intelligent genius?

I liked the 80s-90s Twilight Zone and Amazing Stories as well.

There was an episode where aliens came down to earth and said they were going to kill us because we haven't achieved enough.
The nations of the world got together and signed every treaty and we had world peace. The aliens then said "No, we bred you for war" and then the world went dark. Good stuff.

The physicist that sells his soul to the devil and the devil shows up and he gets his three requests.

There were some more good ones in there.

Bellgab you all are missing out. This guys film is amazing and it's an awesome story.

Oh man I love that too. I just love putting on a random episode of either and going to sleep to it after Hoagland. I've seen all the episodes of both, but it's like a security blanket.
I'm going to watch the start to finish X files on Netflix before the new shoe starts in January. If I can get away from the cult of Bellgabbers. 😝

Alien spaceship, time machine, free energy device, hyper-dimensional pizza oven, it's all the same.

Yes, but the shell of the ball remained.  The insides burned.  It was a sad time.  I remember going through that pavilion a few times as a kid.  Loved it.

You got it one-third right.

I'm starting a similar quest, as soon as I finish binge-watching Farscape.

Yep, fire in the '70s, was closed until the early '90s. Bought by the Quebec government. Now houses a museum about the St. Lawrence River.

I'm not saying I think he is.  I'm saying, let's give this guy a chance to impress us.

If he can come up with something worthy, we'll know by the end of this show.  Art will out him.

Tonight on MITD: We surf the internet with accomplished broadcaster Art Bell. Oh and some guy talks about Oreos and spending 150k on some R&D.

So the guest is a NORML representative?

Thoughts on Night Gallery?

It had a different focus. More on horror. Some interesting episodes, with stories from Lovecraft and Clark Ashton Smith.

If you ever go to Montreal, CHECK IT OUT!  It's worthy.

I think the black and white of the original really added to the show. Sorta film noir.

I think because Serling was burnt out or he had more writers.  Maybe because it was the beggininbg of the 70's.  ;D  I dig the shows anyway.
