I'm agnostic and the subject of the existence of god is not something I find very entertaining. Alternate religious history or theories sign me up. But actual debates about the existence of god is too depressing for entertainment listening.

Well, that's part of the problem. Misconception. Gnosticism and agnosticism pertain to what you know while theism and atheism pertain to what you believe. I'm an agnostic atheist.

Get out to the desert or better yet the ocean or a very large lake. Amazing stuff. Not UFOs but really cool stuff. One can see instantly how an ancient culture without Hollywood crap or smartphones could make up stories.....
