Be that as it may, Alaskans have been calling for a name change for the past 100 years.  The only Republicans opposed to the name change were the Ohio delegation because McKinley was from Ohio.  Alaska's Republican governor and the Republican Senator from Alaska thanked Obama for the long-overdue name change.

Thanks! But I think the much of the mainline GOP, at least on the national level, would sell out white folks just as they would sell out the country.
