Creepy as heck so far.  I kinda trust the EVP folks a bit more if they have this working class redneck American accent - more trustworthy in my view.

Seems pretty neutral to me. Are you from the UK? Brits seem inordinately fond of the term "redneck".

How is this a paid interview? What is your inside info?

That "WAKE UP" was the clearest EVP I've ever heard. If it wasn't Barbara presenting then I'd call it a fake. If Chunga presented it well .....

Yeah, I don't think Art has the budget to pay for guests.

They should go to Alcatraz Island in San Francisco Bay. It was a federal prison until the early 1960s. That place is supposedly really haunted

That doesn't sound like Brendon?

Did they explain the Chunga incident?

Barbara said they are still the same 5 original people and she listed their names. No mention of Chunga.

I would be shocked and amazed if Art Bell paid for these guests.

NOBODY in radio pays for guests. There are some regular contributors of programs who might get paid $100 a week.

While I like the idea of communicating from another dimension, if departed spirits really wanted to communicate from the afterlife:

#1. Why would they 'physically' hang around a deserted space where few people would be there to hear their pleas?  A spirit trapped in a place seems a contradiction.

#2. Why would they bother communicating a few random words in garbled speech to total strangers?  If I wanted to communicate from the other side, I'd appear at the ear of my sleeping loved ones and enter their (subconscious) dreams.

I think these folks are trying too hard to anthropomorphize the spirit world.
1. Sometimes, some have theorized, entities have an attachment to an area. They might have lived there. Worked there. A number of reasons. For one reason or another, they stay. And, sometimes. you will have EVPs in a residence inhabited by a family.

In theory, it takes a lot of energy for an entity to manifest and do things. That could explain it.

That's a hard one for me to make out.  I can't get that out of the clip.

I'm so happy Barbara is still persisting with physical tape.
