wow KC at 25-1 is great. I believe they will win their division and have a real chance at having the best record in the Afc. If I can get those odds I will bet them and assuming they make playoffs I can hedge the bet then.

Biggest surprise is that the Oakland Raiders also have 25-1 odds to win the Super Bowl, so someone came in and laid a huge bet on the Raiders and the casinos have to move their odds to cover.

ya people always over bet the Lakers, raiders, and dodgers before the season. Granted the raiders have a QB finally but I feel they are at best a 7 win team. If the Pat's come back to the pack like I think they will it opens the door for KC to get home field throughout the playoffs. The Afc north probable has the best teams but they will beat the crap out of each other and the winner will be lucky to have 12 wins. The Afc south is a wildcard but the winner of that could only get 10 wins at the most. KC might win 13

You are correct!  I am in talks with Eddie's agent to schedule our next episode around the training camp time-frame.  If we do not come to an agreement soon I will place the franchise tag on him.

I'd like some opinions on where to do this seasons pool as well.  Not sure I want to do it on ESPN again.

Are you sure he is worth the franchise tag salary?  Alshon Jeffriey sure wasn't worth $14+ million. Of course, that didn't stop the Bears.

The NFL is going to use balls that are inserted with a chip this preseason and on the Thursday night games. The chip is supposed to help with many things but mostly it will determine ball placement rather than utilizing the line judge. I don't have a problem using the chip to tell if the ball crossed the goal line but I think this will eventually be a bad thing and slow the game down especially if forward progress is challenged by the coaches.

The pussification of the NFL continues - tonight's game is canceled because the logo in the middle of the field is hard and slick.  Sounds like a pr0n flick.

After it was announced that the game was cancelled, they still waited at least 20 minutes to announce it in the stadium.

They're tearing the field back apart anyways to finish the renovations to the stadium.  (the high school team that plays there has all their home games at another stadium this season)

I have the 1st pick in my fantasy league. It is a 12 team ppr league. Qb's usually end the year with the highest score. I hate having the 1st pick. I am leaning toward getting either Rogers, russell Wilson, or antonio brown. any thoughts.
