20150804 - Jay Weidner/Stanton Friedman Debate - Live Chat Thread

Stanton came out fast. He was hurting Weidner badly early. Weidner was dropped, got up at 8. he survived the first 4 rounds…barely. Stanton slowed a little and his output slowed. Weidner stuck with a steady jab. He stole few of middle rounds. Stanton tried to get back on his game but Weidner has a good rhythm. We are going to 8th round now. 78-73 Stanton thru 8.. Weidner tho, has won last 2 rounds.

The earth is flat and Art Bell is a robot, yup, I'm sticking to that theory.

Spinner

Maybe it's just me, but I think that Stanton is the wrong person to debate Weidner on the Moon landing issue.

best show so far despite the technical issues
I'm really loving it. Hopefully the Corso talk gets Stanton aggressive.

chefist

Ok its official! This is a classic show! Corso next! Awesome!

One of my favorite Art Bell interviews was with Phillip Corso and Jon Alexander.

I really liked the show with the guy from Hawaii and frogs.

Paypal doesn't say if it is automatic or not. I'm still confused and wish Art or Keith would clear this up. Do we have to go to Dark Matter each month and renew?
Go to the activity page in your paypal account.  Click on the Rowland Network Communications link.  Below the total amount, click on "See details on classic site."  In the middle of that page, click on "You can see all of your recurring payments on the My preapproved payments."   You'll find all your subscriptions there, including the Rowland one.  Subscriptions are deducted automatically each month unless you cancel.  There's probably an easier way to get to the subscription page, but I don't want to mess around with it anymore right now.  Hope this helps.

I would've preferred one-on-one interviews with each of them separately.

Yup.. should be with Buzz Aldrin... live in person.  LOL

" I"ll give ya 5 things that have been on the Moon. "     :D

Guys we all know about the shadow government, let's be at least honest we lie and spin it for our own defensive advantage.

Stitch Duran is available if we need to get Stanton some help for these late rounds

Good point. If we had such exotic tech we would show it off at some point in order to blow the Russians away.

Strangelove explains it the best: "Of course, the whole point of a Doomsday Machine is lost, if you keep it a secret! Why didn't you tell the world, EH?"

Yeah! I mean, we either didn't go the moon, or we did. I guess he's saying that we presumably sent some sort of Roswell-derived robot to pick up rocks so the geologists would be fooled, and we sent it with a much more advanced launch system than the Saturn V, yet we can't shield against radiation when it's actually not that hard and we can't make a space suit that works, even though anyone can go examine one in a museum.

Jay would have been a great solo quack guest. Stanton vs. Hoagie or Greer would be amazing.

Even better -- much better -- was the first one with Art, LMH, Corso, and Birnes. This next segment is going to be interesting.

Oh great, a plague of locusts now.
Not a plague if you find them delicious when roasted with a pinch of sea salt and drizzled with virgin olive oil. ;)

Going there now.  Thanks for all the help. :)

We'll still be arguing about this when an Art wannabe is hosting the show from a colony on the Moon.

This dude is inconsistent as hell. He thinks we have more advanced rocket technology than we actually had yet he thinks we faked the moon landing. Idea salad, this guy is all over the place.
I think that what he means is that the advanced technology was used, but the low-tech rockets were for public consumption. Goes right along with the "break-away civilization" often talked about by others.
