lol i think people not used to them wouldnt be able to tell the difference..it does sound like a chirping bird..just a bit more..vocal then most birds

Good point.
I love the sound of peep frogs along with watching fireflys in the spring/summer.
Brings me joy.

I was told that Mount Diablo in the Bay Area is a dormant volcano. Any truth to that?

Dk. But on a clear day you can see 100's of miles from its peak, it is said. Good place to see hummingbirds.

Its a good read.

So I've heard.  Looking forward to reading it.  Since it was published 20 years ago, I would be nice  to see a volume 2 to come out. Lots of water under the bridge for him since Ramona passed.

I'm loving this show!
Just laying down and enjoying the discussion. And the sweet sounds coming out of Art's mouth.  :)

Is the guest used to lecturing to grade school kids?   "That's right!"  "Well that's right!"   "That's right!"

When I lived in Green Valley Ranch/Henderson, Nevada, there was an autographed copy of Art of Talk for $1.  This was before Ramona died.  I think about not getting it.   Wonder how much on eBay?  [googling now]

I read THE QUICKENING and was disgusted. Art Bell came across as a really cranky right wing conservative dude who didn't actually believe in many of the subjects on his show. I particularly remember him putting down gays, and saying that people should never meditate because it would leave an opening for demonic possession. I kid you not. Don't read this book if you love Art Bell because it was very disappointing to find out what he is really like.

Depends on your measuring devices.

Some of them do go up to 11, which is 10+, eh?

My amp goes up to 11.

Why, you can just listen for his sweaty naked flesh peeling off his bean-bag chair. Did you know he does his show wearing only a bolo tie?

The only wearing his bolo tie is for when Robin is there....

No its not. Neither is Mt Tamalpais in Marin, which also looks like a dormant volcano
However, there is in the region a small dormant volcano, the Sibley Volcano, in the East Bay, between Oakland and Orinda in the Oakland Hills

ChandlersDad

Steve Quayle said on C2C one time that the Russians were going to blow up that volcano so that it creates a huge tidal wave to destroy the East Coast.

I don't know why but I have the urge to hear Art play the fantastic 'White Bird.'  There's one thing that I do know, in this program there's a whole lotta shakin going on.  Do NOT unfasten your safety belts until the show has come to a complete stop.

I miss the fireflies in the Midwest.

You can also currently purchase The Quickening on Amazon U.S. for .01 cent, in hardcover or paperback. 2.5 stars with 97 reviews. Hmm...think I'll pass.

Great question from Art. Ask him about Pluto's geologic weirdness. Loving it.

Jackstar

I fell asleep on the couch after I came home from errands. I woke up ten minutes ago, I ran to the device, I turned on the stream, and I immediately get:

"STREAM GUYS! STREAM GUYS IS YOUR BLAH-BLAH-BLAH!"

I'm used to this. The pre-stream bumper finishes... and segues seamlessly into, "It's coming! WHuhaughuahguhguahughaughuahguhuahguhaug derp."
