Ross Mitchell's liners

It is thrilling to have Art in such fine form engaging intelligently with his guests. Also wonderful is having Goldenthroat Ross announcing, and dropping pithy remarks that are surely worthy of collecting. From past shows and the present gems, and probably mentioned in passing in other threads, I would like a written record of Ross' wit, as in his remark, "no requirement to kiss Art's ring"

Good idea, maureen. I laughed when Ross said, "No waiting on hold, no call screeners, and you don't have to kiss Art's ring." Nice dig, that one.  It's like a hidden easter egg; I hope he adds one to each show.

I remember a few year back when Noory said something rude and uncalled for about Ross. Something to the effect that Ross has a deep voice and people should see what a tiny little man he is, or something like that. I have no clue what Ross looks like and don't care. His voice is a gift from God. Leave it to Noory to make some crass comment about a coworker.

That would be a scream, for sure. He could make "Dave" a regular character.

Dave has a guy with a deep voice, but it sounds like a squirrel, compared to Ross.  Maybe Dave offered Ross a job and he refused.  I'm so happy that Ross is still with us.   Love that voice.

Fun fact: Ross Mitchell (think it's the same guy) actually guest-hosted a few episodes of Coast to Coast Live, filling in for Ian.
