Firstly Art's new show is great and really only one complaint about it. It would be  nice to be able to see descriptions of upcoming episodes along with guests. I have heard from others that Jorch and Ihurtradio have been blocking guests if they appear on Art's show. STOP THE CENSORSHIP!  Jorch go fuck yourself honestly, we all know you read this and then go cry about how mean haters are on the internet. What are you a 14 year old scene girl? The way you  conduct yourself is utterly unprofessional and frankly immature for a 65 year old man. Grow the fuck up and maybe look at alternative career paths. Fuck I told myself I wasn't going to post in this section after Art came back, but jorch you really have a way of getting under my skin.

I totally agree. I haven't checked to see if Art's guest schedule is posted anywhere, but judging from all the comments it looks as though he's keeping it under wraps until the last moment. Art should post his calendar of guests for the week, and whatever happens, happens. I might be going out on a limb here but I don't think Dave will try to pilfer guests this time around. I think he learned his lesson after the blow back from the Dark Matter days, and besides, no one in their right mind would go on C2C instead of MITD.., so if Dave tries to get arts guests before art, he will get shot down and have to be happy with sloppy seconds.

You will hear the same guests on both shows, but neither George nor Art want the same guest too close together.  Neither of them want to make it look like they are getting "sloppy seconds" from the other, I get that totally.  The bad news is, however, if George/IHeart wanted to shut their guests off Art's show, they could probably do it.  Let's face it, the majority of the guests, even the goofballs, have books/videos/personal appearances to pitch.  If you are counting on sale of your wares to put food on the table, do you want to be heard by C2C's 2.5M+ listeners or MITD's (guess only) 100K listeners?  And whether we like it or not, C2C (even during Noory's rein of incompetence) does sell books and the like.  If faced with the ultimatum of C2C or MITD, money talks.

The irony of this is, even if George's threats managed to keep all guests off MITD, Art would still have a better show than George because of his open lines savvy.  No one I've ever heard can squeeze every last drop of entertainment from even the dullest caller the way Art can.

Am relieved that Art is back and better than ever.  I do not know how George can compete.  I stopped listening to C2C 2 years ago.  Does George badmouth Art?  Does George still haunt this blog?  Is he really the turd that I thought he was two years ago?

At last my Art has come along, my lonely nights are over...and life is like a song...
(I just heard that commercial and I thought wow, this is how I feel about Art's return!  We used to listen to Art nightly way up North in Fairbanks for many years.)
