I should be sleepy, it's after 5 in the morning, but alas, it seems I shall not be going to sleep any time soon. I worry for Art with all the problems he had tonight with the connection. I'm worried he's not sleeping very well tonight, so.....I can't sleep either.

I LOVED hearing Art, and it was an honor for me to be here with all the bellgabbers tonight. I realize everything will be ok, I know you are right......I am just worried about what Art is going through right now. I'm sure he was expecting a few issues to iron out before the first "official" broadcast, but I don't think he was expecting all this much. I sure wasn't.

#1 rule regarding technology, nothing works at first. I think they are going to have to do things differently. That microwave it just not going to cut it. However, he's had ISDN out there before, bragged about it in the 90's, he can get it again. Sure, it will take some time, but it can be done.

I am just really happy Art Bell is back. I also really want a copy of the test show.

Tonight went well glad they are working on fixes. The first Hour and a half went great. Wish everyone would just get along and just be happy Art is back. Still keep blitzing people.

Yes, it's like Christmas, was not expecting that when I got home at 1:30am Central and heard him on the radio. Unfortunately, my recording effort failed. I heard the last 7 minutes and it was great. The tech issues can be fixed, it's gonna be OK.

And when it eventually does end for "good", oh the memories! Tech glitches and all.

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I dug the show tonight. I saw some comments about redacted and it not fitting, but I think that's way too early to call. She was cut off nearly every skype call that ended, and she was very knowledgable about all the guest suggestions people made on the open lines.

Whether or not I enjoyed her as a test for co-host, I mean, I don't know. The portions she was on I liked a lot, but that was what, maybe a total of 10 minutes?

But MAN, it was so great hearing Art again. I had apple earbuds on and I set Tunein on my phone to use the highest quality stream and it sounded amazing. They solve those internet issues and they're going to have one slick production

I recorded the show as high quality as possible (direct in/no wifi/class A gear/24bit/44.1khz) ..edited out the commercials and some dead air ,and did a hot "master" as if I was mastering a record.. Here it is. I won't do anymore like this unless you hire me:)

Art or Kieth just give me the word and I'll remove it or come to work..

Guys, microwave links are solid technology. Pretty much every long distance phone call you made between 1970 and 2003 utilized at least one point to point microwave nodes.

The difference here is that the signal is passing IP traffic. It shouldn't matter but there is error correction and timing to deal with, but the signal itself is likely very solid.

It's just a test show guys. The whole point was to stress the system and work this out. Don't be chicken littles, or so judgmental. Don't you think that there had been tests on the system already?

This podcast format is HORSESHIT. The 3-single hour format NEVER works. Every radio show that's done this is the past quickly became not worth listening to, in my opinion.

The issue is some mp3 players don't recognize the sequence, thus the show is played out of order.

They need to edit the segments together into a single 3-hour podcast or just record the whole show in one shot and release the podcast that way. This 3 single individual hoursly podcasts has got to go.

Sorry for complaining, but I needed to vent and hope some people feel the same. I emailed Keith about it. Unsure if it will be resolved.

I had the same conversation with Dave from Darkness Radio and his response was "Sorry. That's just the way the station does it." Which was oh so helpful......
