Who Remembers The Movie "The Running Man?"

Good movie about such (but not written by SK, who killed John Lennon as we all know ) but called "Insomnia" but written by Erik Skjoldbjærg and Nikolaj Frobenius. (Later, of course, remade by Hollywood with Al Pacino and called by same name. Sucked in comparison, but maybe if you didn't see the original? I don't know.)

Not the same story. King's story is about a normal guy that develops insomnia. After some time he is able to see aliens. He is also able to see some sort of ethereal string connected to living things. The aliens are somehow able to cut that string and within a day or two those people die.

I actually saw that guy's van in person once.  I can't find the words to express how creepy it was in person.  The woman I was with commented: "I wonder if he tries to take girls on dates in that thing."
