Why did no guest or caller ever predict 9/11?

I'm a fanatic for the time traveler shows where Art has time travelers call in. Art also had virtually every notable psychic, mentalist and flim flam artist of his time on the air. It's funny to hear time travelers, futurists and other people talking about the future in the mid-90s making predictions from that time frame in 2015.

There were several very convincing callers and guests yet no one ever hit on arguably the biggest event in American history since Pearl Harbor.

The closest one I can think of is the infamous Area 51 caller who called in on 9/11 when the satellite famously went down but no one ever said specifically said world trade centers knocked down by terrorists.

Also come to think of it, no one predicted Obama either which is another huge event in American history.

What do you remember and what say you?

Good point.
But that brings up one of my bookmarked websites (and one of the most interesting 9/11 related web pages out there)
http://killtown.911review.org/oddities.html

Maybe the lone gunmen predicted it.. http://killtown.911review.org/oddities/2001.html#March4,2001-LoneGunmen_Pilot

Maybe someone also close to Ashcroft predicted it http://www.cbsnews.com/news/ashcroft-flying-high/

john venturi

someone on c2c talked about having dreams about fire a few weeks before.. don't remember what show.

If you put enough faith in numbers, coincidences and synchronicity....

Kennedy Assassination, Lincoln Assassination, and 9/11 have lot of "coincidences" surrounding them. Some theorize inside job, some say coincidences are just that...

Then you have the select few like me who are under belief everything in our reality is pre-planned. And when the number 11 is slapping you in the face, there's been a change/edit/revision.

I don't believe in time travel per say, more like "editing the code". With that in mind it's not beyond my realm of belief that some entity came back to our time, caused these events to change our course of progression. Endgame here? No idea, but I'm sure it's a lot easier to pin these major events on ourselves then someone saying "we had to do this to save humanity". It also could be just a way I try and justify how/why tragedies occur

If there's any truth to my beliefs, it would render prophets/predictors useless in these cases, because they were able to tap into the original code. The original code didn't include change/edit/revision.

And maybe that's why thousands of us see that damn 11:11 all the time. Too many glitches in our matrix.

The left field theory.

The closest prediction I ever heard was Gordon Michael Scallion saying there will be a surface to air missile that will try to hit the pentagon but won't make it. I'm going by memory here so the details are fuzzy. An airplane I guess could be considered one. His timeline for it though was something like 1998.

I'll try to find the show.

Tom Clancy wrote about a Japanese airline pilot taking a 747 on an empty run and flying it into the White House or Capitol Building (can't quite remember which).  I thought that was a little unsettlingly similar.

I realize this is going to sound a bit simplistic but, we can`t see the future because...it hasn`t happened yet.

I mean, it`s obvious, right? What am I missin` here?

I haven't heard of anyone who predicted 9/11, although I remember at least one self-proclaimed psychic claimed after the fact to have done so based on a vague prediction he had made of some sort of unspecified disaster hitting NYC.  I've also never heard of anyone who predicted that Arnold Schwarzenegger would be governor of California, which you'd think some tabloid psychic would have predicted by sheer accident.

If it hasn't happened yet, how do you fight it?  ;D

The story goes, that William Cooper knew. Listening to his archived rants, however, has not lead me to discover any kind of "Eureka!" moment.

Because, obviously, the extra-dimensional overlords that invisibly dominate our world have had them erased by now. *

*: note that this is all still far more plausible than the official 9/11 commission report

John Titor said that in his time of 2036(?) New York was missing a huge skyscraper that existed when he was here in the 90s. He was never directly a guest of Art's but there was the faxes and David Anderson shows.

Sir, that is a trick question and strictly forbidden on this forum.

Reported.

those psychic twins chicks "predicted" it...but only AFTER a caller asked if they foresaw anything happening in NY. Seems like if you knew something that big was gonna happen you would lead of the interview with it, not wait for someone to ask about it.

Sometimes a prediction may not translate as a future prediction. You can have these visions, dreams and still not know 'Oh, I'm viewing 9/11'

I figured I would share my experience. I may have on GabCast in the past but thought I'd share.

I was a NYC based flight attendant for a major airline from 86-88. It was just a job to land me in NYC until working in profession I desired. I was in the aircraft more than in our apt in Manhattan. I mostly worked NYC / BOS shuttle flights and NYC / DCA. I preferred them as they were six legs a day. Bam, bam back n forth. Back home that night rather than say a 2 day layover to LA or wherever cross country.

I flew this route constantly that I knew and felt every turn with my eyes closed. You know, feel the flight. No pun intended, it's auto pilot. Well, we were living in the West Village in NYC and moved to LA just two months before 9/11 Years passed since I was working in flight but I always felt if you put me back on that trip, I could still work that cabin with my eyes closed.

I was in bed and every night, I slipped into a waking dream just before falling fully asleep. I'm on the aircraft and leaving BOS but something alarmed my my body and rhythm. This isn't right.  Of the aircraft felt off. Why are we sharply turning now? I look out one of he windows from the first class cabin and am looking at the NYC skyline. We're now flying just above the city heading to the towers and I realize 'The skyline is all wrong, the towers are missing' the aircraft is off course. Then there's an explosion that I hear in my mind and rattles me. Whether one believes it's true or even myself... Why did I experience this? No way in hell I would call some prediction open line. It was an intimate and heartbreaking experience and then to be so similar to events that occurred. I knew those flights extremely well and the movement of every tilt of that bird deep in my bones. I can't even stomach as a crew member such a horror. This vision was not a gift nor something to promote. It baffles me to this day and still hurts a bit.

This same vision occurred 6 consecutive nights until the morning of that tragic day. I didn't even think about this 'vision' or it being a prediction. It really escaped my mind until I remembered. And even then, I didn't dare think to call some radio station and announce I predicted it.

My usual practice at the time was to sleep until noon. That day, I snapped wide awake and alert at 0530 in Seattle, which was not usual. I wondered what to do next, and thought "I should turn on the radio and listen to the news because I never do that and now I can do it without having to get out of bed."

So I'm lying in bed and wondering why I'm doing unusual things, and the guy on the radio says, "I think a plane just crashed into the World Trade Center!" You know the rest.

I was grateful to be well rested that day.

There was a seriously spooky sort-of-prediction of 9/11/01 on Ken Freedman & Andy Breckman's weekly experimental comedy program on WFMU, "7 Second Delay".  Andy was going to need some time away, so during that summer they pre-recorded some shows to air beginning Sept. 12.  I can't find it in the archives (it wasn't on the program that was to air 1st), but one of them asked the other what would happen if some cataclysmic event occurred prior to their airing that prevented it.  Indeed, 7SD did not air for a few weeks, and that program in particular was held back longer because it was so spooky.  I do not think this was a hoax, even though because it aired after 9/11/01 such a hoax could've been done.

I've listened to a lot of William Cooper, I don't have the knowledge of his show that I do with Art's but there is a really spooky William Cooper pre-9/11 show floating around out there where he's ranting about Bin Laden being a CIA asset in June '01 I believe.

By the time I heard of William Cooper, he was already dead, and by the time I heard of Bill Hicks, he was already Alex Jones.

I'm not into wrestling but I used to know Oliver Humperdink. I might even have a picture around here somewhere of us.

FYI... in late June of 2001. Bill Cooper predicts 9/11 on his show, The Hour of the Times.  He even suspects that they will blame it on Bin Laden.  Here's a link.

Bill and Art did not see eye to eye on some issues. In fact, Bill did not like Art's show. He thought it was fluff and mostly a B.S. distraction from our real problems.

Art asked Gordon Michael Scallion this question on his 2002 appearance. His answer was the usual physics can't always be right, we only get bits and pieces of images and the lame maybe we weren't meant to see it.  ::)
Really bad answer. Of all the prophecies GMC was 100 % sure about not a single thing about terrorism or buildings destroyed in NYC or planes, nothing.

He first made the map where large sections of the world were flooded in 1995 and when it wasn't true in 02 it was pushed back to a map of the world in 2012. I assume in 2012 it was pushed back again. The GMS way is keep guessing until something happens. He also started to talk about possession randomly and claiming he was involved in 100 exorcisms  ??? . Funny that he was trying to get a new act together at the end of 2002 when his big flood prediction was proving to be false.

136 or 142

A lot of guests and callers predicted September 11 on September 12.

I seem to recall hearing the various "experts" co-opt some misunderstood "quantum physics" as an excuse, "We cannot know time and position and same time" "by observing it, the observation changes state of time or position of event", translational issues "quatrains used a different calendar"  "torah/Bible code Aramaic vs Greek, calendar issues"...,  or the usual make a prediction of a major terror attack all the time and then "remind" listeners/viewer of how your predicted it (ignoring other times you predicted something that didn't happen.) But never, ever just say: I was wrong.
