I had taken this around 1986-ish. My crew and I had just picked up a new BlackHawk Helicopter from the factory in Stratford Ct. We had wanted to see the Statue of Liberty which is in the lower left corner. ( It was covered by a framework while it was being restored ) I figured a nice shot of the New York Skyline with it’s iconic Twin Towers would also be good for my wall, being from New York of course. I discovered it years later, water spotted and slightly faded. After the attack on 9/11 which brought them down, I carried it in my flightbag until I retired. It now stays in view in my radio room as a reminder. Like us all, I remember where I was during 9/11. Never forget!

Looks like it's all quiet so far today. Typical Autumn weather pattern starting to set in. Cooler here only 74 which is seasonal.
