Happy April everyone!

Not here today my lovely Ms C.
Flowers were starting to poke up near lake shore yesterday.
Today it's SNOWING. .... ugh

Hoped to get pier and boats in water tomorrow. ... oh well maybe next week

Wow. That's a spring snow!

Stay warm White Crow. Looks like Brig will be getting some too... Not as bad though I think.

If the skies clear you might be able to see the northern lights tonight. See the post I put up last night.

Todays picture of the nest. I almost had mama bird but she got uncomfortable with me there ( Chloes big nose didn't help) so she flew away while I took the picture.

Thanks serenity.. keep updating progress of nest with pictures .. like finding one too and watching it daily.

Two years ago had a perfect view of a Robins nest.. right outside of kitchen window under an eve. Built in a bird feeder. Nest was at eye level when viewed from inside the the house.
When the little birdies were getting large enough to leave the nest. Mrs Crow was all in a titer that they would get hurt if fell on to the brick patio. No worries, had some old carpet in garage that I placed under thier nest.

Then her worries changed that the wild neighborhood cats could get them when they first dropped out of the nest, because the nearest hiding spots were to far away. More junk dragged out of the garage onto the patio solved the worries for Mrs Crow and the little birdies..   and wise husband too ;)

Yes thanks saw your post.... hope the sky clears up.. saw northern lights only once before in Wisconsin. . They were sheets of red. Very cool...
Remember the night clearly .. was long long ago.. warm summer night,  with Mrs Crow before married, in my VW bug, real hippies had them. Drove out to a remote farmer's field to spend time getting to each other a little better.
Problem with those old VW bugs the back seats were so small. So got out of the car to get a blanket to place on the ground. ..... It was a marvelous night.   Paradise by the Northern Lights

Your Brewers are supposed to open the season on Monday and have 6 home games to start the season. I hope the weather warms up a little, especially before the Astros get up there for games 4-6.

G'day my friends!

Thought I'd touch bases here.  I'll be moving into the "Old Farts Home" mid April.  Still sorting and tossing.  Funny how items, presumed lost for ever, suddenly appear out of nowhere.  ;)

Listening to Trump Speak in Racine WI. while in the packing process.  For some reason, he inspires me to keep at it.  My project is relevant only to me.  But I like to generate the energy of accomplishment  out to everyone. ;) ;D

Okay kids, see ya at my next time out.

Morning all. I have coffee on the stove ( decided to go old fashoned) and thought I would add my own love of Jazz into the mix.

WEEKEND GEOMAGNETIC STORM: A G1-class geomagnetic storm is underway on April 2nd as Earth enters a fast-moving stream of solar wind. The stream is filled with "negative polarity" magnetic fields. Such fields can easily link to Earth's own magnetic field, opening a crack in our planet's defenses against solar wind. This is why NOAA forecasters offer good odds of continued magnetic storming--a 60% chance on April 2nd followed by a 55% chance on April 3rd.  High-latitude sky watchers should be alert for auroras this weekend. Visit Spaceweather.com for more information.

gabrielle

Hey Serenity, thanks for the info about the auroras.  I will be watching. Is the coffee still on or did I miss it?

Just like yesterday. I am trying to get a picture of Mama bird. I think she's a Cardinal. Looking at a game camera, maybe then I can catch some good pics lol. Either way, fresh pics in a day or two if something changes
