If you have been in the chat room for the entire chat, you can do a <select all> (Ctrl-A if I remember correctly) and then do a copy and paste into your favorite text editor.

Yes.  wr250 had done that and posted it at the end of the chat so everybody could read it back whenever they wanted to, much like a live thread chat. I think it was a GabCast. That works as good as a live thread, the thing is, a live thread would make MV money.

The front just passed here. We didn't get any rain this far south. The temps dropped about 10 and are still dropping. I think you will be ok Serenity. More rain is forming out west. Don't know if that will make it here or not.

Ty GS. Would love it to cool to a more winterlike temp.

wr250

brig , missed you in the chat room, sorry bout that

serenity

Since the weather folks started naming Winter storms, the name of this one in the west is Goliath. From the looks of the weather maps over the past few days it is an appropriate name. Hope everyone is safe, warm and above water or snow.

More coffee for those that need it is on the counter

No worries wr250, I thought there was a BellPhiles tonight.  I went to the thread and saw it was going to be rescheduled.  :-*

I know brig that you believe having a live thread for the podcasts are important.. I certainly don't. You mentioned MV making money, that's a joke, right? Another is to archives the chat, who cares?
I wouldn't want a live thread because they are arkward to use compared, to the free flow of posts and easy of use of the chat room.
The designers of the podcasts with a corresponding  chat room have thought this all out.
Maybe brig you are trying to design something that works better for you but isn't for others..  :-*

The Falkie thread uses a 4 letter acronym  that starts with a S and ends an U .. brig, you know me as a gentleman, so I would never say it to you, but it does apply to this subject and also all its implied negativity.

Looks like its a Knapp night tonight. Glad I don't have work tomorrow. Or ever, come to think of it. 😎

Maybe I will ask for donations, get a new iPad and start making videos about the effects of gravity.

Folks in central Texas were freaking out due to 30 degree temperature. No ice is on the road, yet drivers feel they need to drive 35 mph on the express way just because its chilly.

That's because we see those signs all year that say "Bridges freeze before roads" and we only get to take them seriously like 2 days per year.

Quit picking on brig, GS.

Front coming through now. It's 59 and wind calm (so far) Worst of the squall line passed about an hour age. Looks like Ark, OK and extreme northern TX getting the worst of it right now. You got any flooding over there? Looks like the low is centered over ArkLaTex right now. Beautiful comma shape. Nasty weather

Bacon and a few eggs coming up

Sigh, I have been fortunate and haven't had to go to data center daily -- I just need to come down to cover for other's vacations etc (or whenever someone quits) - well; today I drove down for a 12 hour shift ... and looks like I'll be staying here until the freeze/sleet is over, (maybe midnight or 2:00 a.m.) .... (hopefully, my dog sitter can get to my place and take care of Carson a little later today).  Coffee and food look delicious -- thanks very much ... and I hope everyone stays safe with this messy and dicey winter weather.

Virtually no rain at all here. We had high tides due to 24 hours of southerly winds so I am glad we didn't get rain. I am tired of cleaning that damn pool. It flooded 4 times this year.

Bright blue skies, but colder than a witches tittie right now. Until StarrMtn comes on and starts talking negative temps.

Dang Ms.C you be safe up there. Wind started to pick up a bit here. I guess I had better go outside and see what the damage is overnight. Stay out of the water GS GLS just starting to look good again.

Aye, this old salt recommends saltin' down the drive and steps if you haven't already...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8aBP-JOZsU

Goodness, the roads in y'all particular locality may not have haven the loads of salt left over from last year, or your local/state road depts. may have sought to 'alleviate' local/state budget shortfalls by selling salt (Floridians, this is not casting aspersions in your particular direction, more a general aspersion casting...)

I digress.

Drive carefully, fiends.  Lest you end up smooshing precious butterflies like this rampaging cad (black ice):

Not Sure, Carry On.

edit: I for one am hunkered down with Hazelnut coffee and some leftover Christmas cookies, I suggest all loyal BellGabber copy and survive the year!
