It's quite obvious that Nancy and Rose want to vastly grow the listener base.
While The GabCast is a very fun show for 'us' Bellgabbers (insiders) it audience base is minuscule.
Nothing wrong with that, it's what MV wants, a fun little show, filled with, at times the crazy world of Bellgab happenings, Bellgab controversy and rabit Art Bell fans.

Art's and Hoagies shows are the model that Nancy and Rose need to follow, they appeal to a wide audience (jury still out on Hoagie) The rub is both Art and Hoagie are VERY well known commodities and although Nancy and Rose have had some previous exposure, its limited compared to Art and Hoagie.

We have all witnessed a multitude of podcasts that are doomed to stay small for many reasons.
If they are lucky to attract a new listener, many times they don't deliver, and the listeners don't return. For Bell-Haven to grow they need, to not only attract new listeners they HAVE TO KEEP THEM!

So in other words, we can all Blitz the social media, but if Nancy and Rose can't make the magic happen to a broad audience, then they are wasting their time. (Assuming they want some income)

I love Bell-Haven but I have no way to judge it's mass appeal; is my love akin to the quirky 'insider' world of The GabCast or is my love for Bella-Haven in tune to the mass appeal of Art's show?
I truly don't know which it is?

Who amongst us can guide Nancy and Rose with honest feed back, to let them know, if they have the spark, the beginnings of something that with a crazy amount of effort can grow vastly greater?.... Or is doomed to podcast never never land..... Maybe Mr Arthur Bell, Mr Michael Vandeven and Mr Steven Warner can let the the girls know if they 'Got-it'

Let me quickly add that we need these answers, and my instinct is to concentrate on the content and start acting like the editor in chief of the new magazine of the air that Lasha and I are building. Content is the Queen of Bella-Haven

I will take whatever audience I can get and make a show they will like.

Bella Haven is fine. I listen to Art, then the first couple minutes to see if Hoagland will mess up, then I head over to bella haven. Mostly for the chat box, but I'm starting to like the hosts.

Just take sabu's call and don't threaten to kick him out. You want to gain listeners, not lose them!
