Actually, there was a really funny case I listened to earlier tonight: Some crazy mom was suing a baker for $1500 for ruining her 22-year-old daughter's birthday party because he gave her a red velvet cake instead of a rum cake.  And the daughter was so upset that she stormed out of the party.  So the mother was suing.  It was one of those ...  ... that girl needs a reality check.   FYI, the mom got $34.99, the price of the cake.

I like Judge Judy. She can be a bit harsh and arbitrary but damnit I like that show. I also like The Peoples Court.

JJ was my first intro to the genre.  Problem is, I'm all caught up on her, but I'm 4 weeks being on TPC!  I have probably over 1TB of the last 10+ seasons of JJ (she's on season 20).
