New one tomorrow and probably some open lines, aka me screwing around on a stream, too.
About time.  ;)     Cool.

History is not a linear line, it's a saw tooth. A saw tooth to where? -Hoagland

Welcome to the Hoagland live thread MV. As you can see, we don't actually give a fuck about the show when it's live anymore, we just talk about other shit while its on.
Ditto.

Any space in your home now you consider sacred? Or relaxing?

My tube of superglue says it's one =)

Need more data. Is the future like Planet of the Apes future, RoboCop future, MadMax future or Looper future?

my connection didn't drop. this might be my favorite show so far. but i don't know who this guest works for. i like the topic but they are not even skimming the surface. kind of like national geographic or discovery. it's so diluted.
Depends on if you're on a desktop or mobile device.

We used to climb trees, but somebody had to ruin it for everybody.

we also used to dot are lawns with plastic lawn animals...

"Kahn suggested that we have "conversations" with materials to discover
their most appropriate uses. They go something like this:

You say to brick, "What do you want, brick?"
Brick says to you, "I like an arch."
If you say to brick, ''Arches are expensive, and I can use a
concrete lintel over an opening. What do you think of that,
brick?"
Brick says, "I like an arch."

With this example Kahn is telling us that material objects contain
information about the ways they can best be used. The brick likes an
arch because it is strong when pressed against other bricks. An arch
can span a great distance simply by letting a group of bricks press one
against the other, allowing a heavy lump of clay to fly through the air
in a beautiful curving shape. By understanding the qualities that give
the brick its individuality, we can bring out its true nature and use it
in glorious ways.
Thousands of years before Kahn had his conversations with
bricks, builders in India expressed a similar relationship between
consciousness and matter."

Darth Sandra, in my attempt to embrace Socialism, I will share. You can sit next to me for hour two.
An hour with GS is a mindbender. You know. All that Science

I didn't say you had to move. I am trying to embrace the concept of sharing the wealth.

I never did that! It belonged to the neighbor. And that thing hurt, a lawn deer traveling in a 150 mph wind hitting you in the head hurts like the dickens.

"2.  Place a fork, spoon, and knife on a table in front of you. Notice that each utensil is made of the same
metal but has a unique shape. See the information that passed from the mind, through the hand, and
into the metal. The knife is shaped by the information of cutting and spreading, the spoon by the intelligence
of scooping, the fork by the intentions of piercing and lifting. Perceive the information in the
metal that passed into the fork, how the metal has the ability to take on various shapes and remain
strong and smooth. Use the fork, spoon, and knife to eat a meal, thinking of the implements as bundles
of consciousness rather than as material objects."

I use the PLS and it has the least amount of bullshittery. i'm gonna drop it on my PSP and use that lil guy as my internet radio again and see how that works with DMDN.

Where do I place my chopsticks in this scenario?
