In '92 before Stan appeared on the circuit, he was in Australia. I forget how I found out about him, but I think it was a blurb in the back of another book I had. I sent out for a copy of "The Cosmic Conspiracy".  That's the book that got me started. He covers a lot of topics that are 'old news' now, but back then, it was a lot of different. You really had to search to get all the stuff he covered in that book . BTW - Stan and Holly autographed the copy they sent me. I thought that was cool. He's done a lot of experimentation on his own. I was taken aback by the backlash he received when Art had him on. This from peeps that didn't know the first thing about him. The man is one of the few that isn't selling snake oil. He has a religious bent, but not overpoweringly like Quayle does. I've messed with some of his ideas, and they hold merit. ( I've also got "The Vindicator Scrolls" ) I haven't checked him out in a while, but it looks like he has a lot of youtube vids up.

I need to learn more about him. I'll probably buzz through some YouTube videos at some point. Back in the early 90s, researchers really put in their time, and their audience/subscribers were few so gratification would probably mostly have been personal or within a small circle of colleagues, or maybe in the newsgroups or IRC. To a certain degree I don't know how some people managed to survive before networking was made more accessible through www. I think Art Bell was atleast a decade ahead of his time as far as providing a platform for people like Stan and company. How many movies and TV shows were based on this kind of subject matter by the end of the millennium? Too many to count.

This actually wasn't too terrible. We have all seen far worse. Although the production here is stilted and amateurish, by the end, I found it oddly, mildly charming.

It also helps that they weren't talking about complete and utter bullshit, although I wonder at this "Quantum Zeno" thing. Is that trademarked? Well, whatever. I have more than zero hope.

I think it had more to do with 80% of the posts were trying to dox heather and reposting what was said here on bellgab than actually commenting on the radio program.
