Granted, but doing a fresh intro and then launching the rerun is just underhanded and sneaky.  There's nothing on his schedule that indicates it's anything other than a fresh interview.  Did he think nobody'd catch it?

I wonder who came up with the idea.

Not to mention that the trick is going to be obvious to anyone subscribing and listening to the archive. Reruns are fine, they're going to happen, but this was just a bait and switch.

If I recall correctly Art did this once or twice a hundred years ago.  A neat new intro to the show and then switch to a re-run.  I can't recall if he announced it beforehand.

I, like all of you, was utterly disappointed to find the show was a rerun.  It would've been great to hear a Tim Russ follow-up interview.  I wish I heard the beginning, and the edit.   My apologies to my brothers and sisters here if it seems I left in a huff with my remark of "not feeling the vibe" regarding the thread.  Well, I must say I was utterly confused when I came late to the party and couldn't seem to catch up in the conversation.  It boggles the mind that Hoagie would have the audacity to pull off a stunt like this.  It's not surprising though.  Seems he is adept at playing dirty pool.

I think all of us were shocked and dismayed by what Hoaxland did last night.  It was shameful.
