i swear this Woodwright guy is on drugs
Blah ha ha.
I thought the same thing when I first saw him back in the '80's.
He is entertaining though.
Be careful, it's really easy to learn things from him. ;)

He gave me a shoutout at the end. I hope he erased it from the replay. This is fucking sickening.
Nope, you still got your "gold star" for what that's worth. :o

Auslandia

Thank you Hoagie. If your show hadn't been a cop out replay passed off as new, I wouldn't have gone to sleep and oddly had a sex dream about my wife.  I owe you.

Who would be our ideal replacement for Hoaxland? Aside from Rossy of course.

There ! That's exactly the kind of thinking we need. Thank You NightSister.
We need someone that's along general lines that a lot of peeps would listen to.
This is DMDN were listening to. Paranormal [?]
We should be thinking about this so we have some ideas we can agree on.
Herding cats was fun for one or two nights, but not something I want to do on a regular basis.

What do you think peeps ?
Does this merit it's own thread ?

So how is OSOM going in general? I haven't listened in a long time...

Bad. Horribly bad.
Last nights' guest was an exception though. Hoaxy actually let him talk. Over unity devices, a.k.a. free energy and a discussion of Bruce DePalma's N-Machine. The guest dispelled the conspiracy theory that Bruce was murdered. Apparently he was in horrible health and run down from constantly beating his head against a wall. Just search for Rex Research.I checked these guys out years ago, just never had time to experiment w/ the principals. I thought it was actually a pretty good show when Hoaxy wasn't being overbearing. The show had the potential to be amazing.
edit: No S MMMMM-Kay appearance either

Does he think he's going to get people to pay for crappy reruns?

Oh, so he has been using a lot of reruns? Is he having them weekly?

As a matter of fact, yes.  Or he has no guest and just takes calls from the rest of his village idiots.

I, like all of you, was utterly disappointed to find the show was a rerun.  It would've been great to hear a Tim Russ follow-up interview.  I wish I heard the beginning, and the edit.   My apologies to my brothers and sisters here if it seems I left in a huff with my remark of "not feeling the vibe" regarding the thread.  Well, I must say I was utterly confused when I came late to the party and couldn't seem to catch up in the conversation.  It boggles the mind that Hoagie would have the audacity to pull off a stunt like this.  It's not surprising though.  Seems he is adept at playing dirty pool.

Marc.Knight

I am not apologizing for him - but I do know that they are working hard to find the best possible guests.  In the current manifestation of the show, I think we should expect some imperfections.  And, he is 70 years old.

K_Dubb

I can sure understand having to play a rerun if something comes up last-minute but to do it the way he did without acknowledging or explaining it shows contempt for his audience.  Can you imagine Art doing something like that?

No, but ole RCH doesn't have the experience AB does.

Granted, but doing a fresh intro and then launching the rerun is just underhanded and sneaky.  There's nothing on his schedule that indicates it's anything other than a fresh interview.  Did he think nobody'd catch it?

I wonder who came up with the idea.

We should tell him how we feel.  It is analogous to WD-40 and his noisy chair.

The producer is blameworthy in this case. If Scott Mmmmkay doesn't have sufficient experience, he should be replaced. Mmkay?

That's not an excuse. If anything, it should be a feather in someone's cap. In a perfect world.

K_Dubb

Well it's hard to shake the impression that OSOM's trajectory is downwards, and this doesn't help.
