I'm sympathetic, but whether you're beholden to an insurance company like it used to be, or beholden to a subsidized insurance company like it is now, you're still trusting the big guy. Except the big guy now is not politically accountable. It's just an insurance company.

I have the choice of insurance companies or the choice to tell them all to go fuck themselves... well until Obamacare. But under socialism you have one system and you don't have a choice.

Bingo. Insurance companies are absolutely evil. Anyone against Socialized medicine should ask why aren't seniors lining up to get rid of Medicare?

We never really had capitalism, but with healthcare it seems more complex, some simple services can work, but so much of it maybe experimental and there lies the rub, how can you capitalize on something that most people maybe not sure really even works anyways? It tends to lead to fraud, the problem we have though that the government wants in on this not because they care but because they see it as another way to get more money for nothing, the paitent dies from too much care...oh well at least they had "free insurance"!
