After listening to that fast talking, hyperactive Canadian on Art's show, listening to RCH is like taking Audio Ambien.

Agreed.  This guest seems very pleasant.  I just wish I knew what the hell was going on.

Good Luck!  I have yet to make a full hour.  I've listened to every episode but I've never made it past the first 40 minutes.

We can do it!  Solidarity.

I'd really like to know who that was!  I guess the guy was just following the audience's lead.

It's a fun topic.  I like that Dark Matter Digital can have some diversity and not always be about the paranormal.  I love that subject matter, but it's great to hear this stuff once in a while.

Congratulations! You are the winner of the "Coin the Other Side of Midnight's Official Tagline" contest  :)

42 min in and RCH finally gets to a NASA reference, that's a record for him!

No.
It was RCH himself who fell asleep, and he got fired because of that.

before he went to break he said a certain guest last week fell asleep at his computer so he wanted the guest to man up and admit to it

This reminds me of how the BBC used to destroy all their old programs instead of Archiving and that's why there are huge gaps in the early seasons of Doctor Who.

Ah, that. Yes, the guy (I forget his name) was supposed to come on the show, and RCH couldn't communicate with him.

Time to get to sleep myself. Good night all!

Hoagland's guest tonight was also one of his guests on his big Pluto flyby special a couple weeks ago.
They both did a broadcast 50 years ago at the time of the first Mars probe (Mariner 4) flyby.

Do you remember anything they talked about?

I like this show tonight with Dick Bertel.
It's interesting to hear about the pride put into the radio business in the past.
