The oak island show was ok, but now its just another reality show. They don't want to find anything because once they do, the shows over. And its pointless trying to build up a show to make us watch it, because once they find something, we will hear the news elsewhere.
I just want to watch the guys enthusiastically dig around for treasure.

I don't know anything about any modern reality shows about it. My frame of reference mainly comes from the old 80s paranormal show In Search Of with Leonard Nimoy and the episode they did on it.
