Annoyed Art!

So I was listening to an archived show with Dr. John Holland 1997-08-07 and he played a hilarious apology from a "debunker" who said something about Art on the tv show "Sightings." He was hilarious as the guy, name escapes me, read this long apology on air. Art was actually pretty magnanimous but got some digs in about truth etc even after the apology.
Does anyone recall this and who the debunker was- and what was it that he said?
