Great, now we will hear radio's first on air death.

He still has it. The show on the Roman Republic was really good. I like the quote "Rome has had civil wars before but this was a goodie." And I love someone having the first name of "Taco," as in the Professor, who no doubt is very knowledgeable but I don't know if I could sit through a class without laughing, at least to myself, with a Professor named Taco. Good show and interesting show though.

Wow.  I used to listen to Extension 720 (Milton Rosenberg on WGN) in the 1970s.

The closest I can think of to his program was David Brudnoy, who I turned on to later.  Of them I far preferred Brudnoy, but their programs were similar.

Yes. It is really amazing Rosenberg is still at it and still has his wits very much about him. Still doing good and interesting shows with good guest.

Though it is funny when guests start talking about social networking, modern banking hacking, identity theft, etc. I think Milton, and others of his age, might be precisely the target, sucker, audience for those scary commercials about thieves taking "the equity in your home" and "taking your bank account."

I know I'm the only one beating the drum here for him, but this guy has interesting shows with legitimate guests. And he is ancient, and still on the ball. So helps me also think Art will last a lot longer than the paralegals and Dave-bots say. Check it out. And it is free (I have no financial or otherwise interest in the show but happened upon it years ago when he, also, had "another show" and was fired/retired and decided to go online:

Thanks for the tip on Rosenberg! I fired one episode up yesterday that looked interesting (Philosophy 101) and it was! Going to listen to more.
